that angle at 2.05 you drew. what if the board was shorter so it ends before that angle marker?

$300 in post spikes? Damn. Internet pays you too good. I couldn’t spend $300 on the whole project.

Thank you for taking the time to share a wonderful idea. Mabe next time the camera person can do a better job of showcasing the rack. A top to bottom showcase to show all the details. Not just the work being done. Barely had looks of the complete rack.

I once built a pool deck out of rough cut lumber for a customer because I didn’t like the way they looked.

Looks like a very cool and simple design - BUT, it also looks like if you lean back on the backrest it would flip over because the back legs do not extend past the center of gravity?

Little Daughter's room was too plain, So Dad broke down all the stuff in her room to clear it all out and start a new room. First, Dad got some galvanized square steels and used it to make a layout, then secure firmly with borrowed screws from his aunt, covered with eco friendly wood veneers. Durable for 10,000 years. Next, add a cushion to the bed frame and add wall matresses by the side to ensure comfyness, dig out a hole on top of the bed, store belongings such as books and paintings and add an extension hole for charging purposes. Dig out holes under the stairs for storage. Using eco friendly wood, build a wardrobe and cover with eco-friendly plastic to store clothes, add her gaming table and few touches. Here is your special room!

Great job! Proper mechanical stabilization with geotextiles, something that 90% of home retaining walls lack and the primary reason for failure. A lot of installers fail to understand the stress of lateral earth pressure.

That is a great design and tutorial. It would be better though if the wood screws were replaced by glued in dowel rods, to make the seat last longer

Very cool, but is it stable? That narrow front-to-rear leg spacing looks as if the bench will tip over backwards if the person seated leaned back against the backrest (which you never did in the video).
@garsonprice3441

Exactly! Looks dangerously unstable for tipping over backwards.

Architect here and just found your channel. Great channel and content. New sub and will be using your videos to guide a few projects on my WV land. 🍻 I'm creating my own channel and would love to collab at some point! Love the preaching about "water being the enemy" as it really is. No two ways about it. If you can keep water away from the parts of the project that don't handle water well (basically anything that's not stone, concrete, or masonry, etc), your projects will be of a higher quality and last much longer. 🍻🍻
