Kerala never exceeded 31-32 celsius at the peak of the summer when I grew up there in 80s and 90s. During my ocassional trips to Fort Kochi, it was one of the coolest (I meant weather-wise) place in mid-Kerala. Today things have changed. Have to blame the real estate build up in the whole of the country which has eliminated as many trees as possible and the carbon pollution.

It's peak Summer season in India. April-May are the worst months to travel. You Must head to the Himalayan hill stations. Come back to Kerala in the first week of June when the Monsoon hits the coast. Monsoon is magical in Kerala 😊
