I killed a lot of brain cells while listening to this album. Loved the music. Honestly, though, I though Wendy O Williams' naked schtick got in the way. This was a genuinely great album. The Metal Priestess album is one of my favorites. But everyone I've ever known who doesn't like this kind of music (and many who do) think the only reason you like it is because Wendy O was mostly naked most of the time. lol. She and Plasmatics would both be better regarded today if they weren't perceived as a novelty act. I DO think Wendy was the real deal, and I doubt any f**ks were given, but it's absolutely true that the skin overshadowed the music. Don't get me wrong. I didn't mind it. I was a young man with raging hormones. I saw Wendy O on a solo tour in a small club in Charlotte, North Carolina, and I cheered as much as anybody when the t*ts came out. Sadly, by that time she was in such bad shape and her career had gone so far down the tubes that the boobs were the highlight of the set. The band was sloppy and she seemed sort of out of it. I think by then she'd accepted that the boobs were what a lot of people came for.

I hate that they edited lead guitarist Richie Stotts out of the video.....Gene Simmons single handedly broke up the Plasmatics after this album...... Interesting thing.... If you watch the video carefully, you can see a flash of white around Wendy's boot,.. she broke her ankle during rehearsals for the video, but continue to go on and finish the shoot! They cut her biker boots so that she could fit it on over the cast!!!

Here's the thing about Wendy O - if all you're taking in is sexuality and revealing outfits, well, you don't get it. Wendy O. Williams screamed an aggression that transcended male and female. She was badass because of that unbridled aggression. I only had a peripheral glimpse of the Plasmatics at the time, and I wish I had paid greater attention. I will always lament not seeing the Plasmatics in the day.

This is dogshit performance art and is about as punk as my dentist.
