Yesterday the YT-Algorithm suggested to watch this vid. Watching the thumbnail, I immediately thought "I know this silhouette". Thank you for taking us along. Very nice to meet you, Lucy, Tip Tap, Cowbell and all the others again. And to watch your journey trough your own eyes. Happy trails from Switzerland Crosshair. P.S.: No goodbye to your tramily, a really classic irish exit🤪😉

Have a very bad back I’m heavily considering this but I hate couscous, everytime I think about it my mind goes blank as to what to eat I’ve watched videos and they always make complicated stuff anyone have any really idiot proof suggestions?

I also watched the Elina Videos. You guys walked 700 miles together with the german dude HAZE, but after Kennedy Meadows he disappeared. Did he quit the PCT?

This is so freaking impressive. Are there any good resources to learn how to build a van interior like this, or is this from a lifetime of handiwork?

Hey Paul, I am very interested in this van and saw it was listed near me! What is the fuel efficiency on it? Does it average right around 17 like it says on the dash? Also does this have Apple Carplay? Thanks!

Hey there, thank you for leaving a comment. While on the van's inaugural road trip to test the build (in which everything performed as designed), I was able to average 17 mpg. Though the system is expansive with connectivity options, it does not have CarPlay. I would be happy to discuss with you further, please contact me via email at [email protected]. Cheers!

Hi Irish, thanks for the great review. Just wondering if you had any thoughts regarding getting the 2400 over the 3400. Did you find it handy to have the 3400 for the longer carries over the Sierras etc? Thanks in advance :)

Hi Irish, Thanks for the great review. I was looking at getting this bag, but was wondering what you thought about going the 2400 instead of 3400. Did you find it was helpful to have more pack space for longer carries across the Sierra's etc?

Wow Paul, let's see, you're a hiker, skier and craftsman. Excellent job! Does it ever get that homey lived in look or do you keep it all minimalist and neat and tidy?

Thank you! They tend to look a bit more “homey” or a bit less tidy with use. That being said I intentionally designed this van to maintain quite a minimalistic layout and feel.

Have you ever considered converting a Mitsubishi Delica 4WD Diesel van? That's what motivates me. I really want a 4WD van that doesn't cost tons of money to fuel up. The Delica can get up to 20 mpg in 2WD in city/highway, it usually hovers around 15 off roading in easier offroading conditions when you can move around 15-25 mph. Rock solid motor, strong and dependable. Serious 4WD chassis (it's from the Montero a worthy offroading vehicle).

Thank you, I watch a lot of hiking videos on here, I haven't been on the trail for over 25 years, now, I want to hike the PCT and planning on doing it next year. I am going to call it " The PCT at 63" , got the gear, done a few trial walks, etc, your little documentary was indeed grateful to the cause. Peace and good tidings from the Conejo, a belated one at that.
