Can’t wait to visit. So rich in everything: culture, gastronomy, coastal beaches and mountains. It’s like a country in itself. Only complaint: you didn’t mention Asturias by Isaac Albéniz! Great music😊

Those people who lived in Castros and were later "Romanized" are also called Celts. Asturias is one of the 8 Celtic Nations and even participates in Interceltic Festivals. Why didn't you use the word CELT? I resent people denying my heritage.

I really enjoyed this video. My mother is from Asturias. She is 91 years old and living here in the USA. I still have cousins who live in Oviedo as well as in the surrounding towns and cities. My husband and I would like to spend some time in Oviedo so our children can learn Spanish and so I can practice my Spanish as well. I don't get to speak it like I would like. Asturias is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. My husband is not Spanish, but enjoyed visiting when we went in 1998. He is part Irish/Scottish and was amazed when he saw the Celtic inluences that are still there. Thank you for such a wonderful video! Melody :)
