I just serviced my 981 but you had to remove engine cover so a bit more work. The reason for the sensor tied is those old pads are cheap and don’t have the recess. I’ve seen some channels cutting the sensor off and twisting wires together is not a good idea. I use ferodo pads so I just cable tie the sensor so don’t get brake warning lights and they are cheap from FCP Euro. Also I was able to open brake fluid cap and then just simply compress the pistons against rotor rather than using clamps it’s much quicker. Great interesting video on ell done

That is not the latest model with PDK. I have 4 Cayman S, one Cayman R and a 911S and I have the sport steering wheel that is wonderful. Of course it costs more! The only thing I really don’t like are the “high tech” cup holders! 😂 I don’t care too much of the sound system I only use it to learn to the news!

I have a 2010 Cayman S with the 6 speed transmission and I couldn't stand the design of the steering wheel and changed to the Sport wheel, big improvement to the eye.

I am waiting for your video's of your trip buying a Mercedes in Athens and driving it to Berlin. Why didn't you sell it in Sindelfingen or Bremen? (location Mercedes factories). But seriously: I would have done it the other way: buying in Germany and selling in Athens. On German websites people say that the 190 and 200 are the models to drive a Mercedes cheaply. The 190 was the taxi in Western Europe for decades. Comfortable and almost indestructible. A nostalgic icon.

Love the Lucid. They have great support and because of this I expect they will take off. The past couple of years have been tough on everyone. Best EV on the market.

Tesla has the same issue with the play button while using Bluetooth audio. If you're playing a song from the phone and it's continuously pausing, try playing it from the cars infotainment system. That should resolve the issue.

I've owned the model S for 6 yrs. A really nice car with below average build quality.

I would take a model S over this. its similar power and speed for less money. you're getting air suspension as well in a model S. and you can be in comfort mode with full power as well. I think the model s is a better package deal with things like better phone key, better charging network, better software, and the better sound system is a big one for me. I heard both lucid systems and neither really were all that good. the dolby atmos is cool for the average person but to me it just ruins the music and makes it hollow. even with the dolby atmos off it just doesn't have drivers in the correct places to create good strong sound.

I looked at the new Cayman but at least where I live the Audi RS3 had like 100hp more and cost €10k less and sounded better and performed better. Not sure how they are to drive though as I’m still just dreaming of such cars. Maybe when the kids have left the house in 15 years and I’m in my mid life crisis.

I think the main character in The Sopranos had one of these E class. Personally I prefer the look of the older late 80s Mercedes with the square lights but it doesn’t look too different inside to the older model.

This sounds like a nightmare. In Sweden when you buy from a dealer these days you no longer send owner documents by mail you do it online and it’s done right away on the board of transportation website. I’ve heard similar stories happen before though. Unfortunately bad dealers exist here too and many pop and go away after a few months as I’ve discovered. That’s why I these days personally only buy from a place that’s existed for decades and I know to trust.
