It says in Deuteronomy 4:2 (ye shall not add unto the word which I command you. Neither shall ye diminish ought from it. That ye may keep my commandments. Even though paul wrote this, some are saying God doesn't have a clue what is in his book. I believe God is all-knowing. So everything that is in the Bible, God knows. Women already have the most important job. They bring life into this world. God has a certain order for everything we should obey his word.

No disrespect to anyone on this thread but that is not true yes Jacob and Esau were twins but they were not identical twins they were fraternal twins I already read the book of Josephus. They were nothing alike because the scripture is very clear when the the most high said to Rebecca two Nation are in your womb, 2 manner of people are in your womb. Esau and Jacob are nothing.

First, he teaches me about Love and then the teaches me about Perfect Love. If God hasn't taught me about Love and Perfect Love, I wouldn't be able to stand up to the devil in a 1v1 fight or even love him. I like this dream, because I love him in real life and I know that thanks to God I can take him on.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, a residential complex, a kilometer from Qumran. It was originally a palace for Hasmonewn royalty. It was called the Queen's House. Because animals were stabled there, it was also called the 'Manger'.///The birth story in Matthew was about Jesus's actual physical birth into the world. (Jesus was born on Sunday, March 1, 7 BC). Luke's account of the birth is 12 years later in 6AD, when Jesus was 12 years old. A boy at the ageof 12 went through a ceremony equivalent to the Orthodox Bar Mitzvah, when he was formally separated from his mother; this early initiation was symbolized as a kind of '2d birth'. When Mary 'brought him forth', she was following the symbolism in which Jesus was formally separated from her. Because the Annas family held that he was legitimate, he went through this ceremony as the heir of the Crown Prince. Mary took him to the Queen's House in Qumran for this ceremony. When he was 'wrapped in cloths', he was being clothed in ceremonial vestments. ///'No room in the inn'--Mary & Joseph were in the married state, so they were not allowed into the KATALYMA, the upper room, the sacred dining chamber. They were not allowed into the highest form of communion, reserved for separated celibates.

There is evidence people can fall away. Infact , we see in Revelation how people have been deceived. This is why Sanctification is important. It is clearly addressed several times by Paul in his writings. That's why you continue in the instructions laid out. There's also another vector, that the child will bring good things to the mother, and she will realise her responsibilities.

Im fairly certain the simple explanantion of this is that the "through just means "in spite of" if you read it that way it makes the sentance make more sense and fits with the context of the previous sentance, he is talking about true salvation, he is saying that "in spite of the curse of childbearing, women will be saved, as long as one continues in faith, love and holiness "

This doesn't even remotely answers the question and doesn't explain the Bible passage in question...every verse must be interpreted in its historical context and in the overall teaching of the Bible

What we must not forget is that Adam was with Eve when she took the fruit from the devil. She was deceived but Adam was downright disobedient to God because when God told Adam that he should not eat from the fruit of the tree, Eve was not made yet...she was not present at that time and she only knew about it from Adam...even then, she didn't know it well because she told the devil that God said that they should not even touch the tree, which is not true because God told Adam to take care of all the plants and trees in the garden, he didn't tell Adam not to touch the tree...she heard about the tree second hand from Adam...but Adam who knew what God had said, disobeyed Him completely. Why did he not stop Eve by telling her that God had forbidden them to eat of the tree?! He could have stopped her but he is the one who disobeyed God
@TheDeeStain

You are adding a lot of your own context. It is clear you aren't a fan of being told to be quiet which I don't blame you but to state Eve didn't know and it was only through Adam and that Adam was right next to her when the serpent tricked her and that it was MORE disobedient on his part is ridiculous. God explicitly states women were made to be "MANS" helper. I'll agree that in our current society this seems to be a harsh thing to say or even think but that doesn't mean it isn't true or isn't suppose to be followed.

I thank BLB, you, David, and the Hebrew Data team for this great source provided to us to get to know our CREATOR better thereby allowing us to mature in HIS love, HIS word, HIS ways. To BLB, I would truly love to make a financial contribution, but I am an elderly Christian with limited finance that it is so difficult to see daylight with prices rising daily...even with just the necessities of life. If I could though, you would receive finance without asking. I tell you this because BLB helps me to keep grounded, providing me with knowing my SAVIOR intimately. If it were not for a program where I am able to have internet access, I would be struggling to get the data. Please don't disconnect us. GOD shall provide you to continue and maintain the work. Also, I love King James Version, more specifically the Authorized King James Version, but I do read other versions and translations. I am so thankful of the comments stated in this review about the KJV as I hear a lot of negatives about it. It is the poise or sheer truth which to me is closer to the actual "real" of GOD's work of love for mankind! The personal effect! Thank you all!🥰

This verse is much more easily understood and straight forward if read with the word 'preserved' in the place of 'saved', which when looking at the Strong's concordance could be an accurate translation for that words usage in this passage. It could simply be a promise of God's protection for women to 'preserve' us while bringing these sweet little ones into this world. 💛

Thank you for your question! Prior to this project, users could only see the generic Hebrew (or Aramaic) "root form" for many words and phrases in the Old Testament, rather than being able to see the specific Hebrew (or Aramaic) "inflected form" from which each English word was translated in every Old Testament verse. This created many instances where a single Hebrew word is linked to multiple English words, and vice versa. Due to the massive scope and complexity of this project, we needed a team of specialists to methodically work through the data. And so, through our seminary contacts, we hired several Hebrew language specialists to begin mapping. The accuracy of our tools and resources is vital to us because of its importance to rightly dividing the Word of God. Therefore, we aim to develop and enhance the tools and resources that we offer so that you, our users, can more faithfully understand God's Word. With this thorough mapping of Hebrew to English, we pray that God will use our efforts to bless your time in the study of His Word for His glory. Hello, is there a master list that explains Thayer’s abbreviations? I find several that stymie me and a list of explanations would be helpful. For eg.: John 17:20 “word” (“message” in NIV) heading I, number 3, subheading e “instruction: with a gen. of the teacher”. What does Thayer mean by the abbreviation “gen”? I feel as though I’m not getting a full understanding of the definition without understanding his intent. Thank you for reading my message. In an earnest attempt to have this message seen, I’ll probably send it out to more than one person; it is not intended as spam, but an honest attempt to have this problem rectified.

Is there a list of Thayer’s abbreviations and what they stand for available anywhere? I find I am often uncertain what he intends - one example is in looking up “word” in John 17:20 (“message” in the ESV), if don’t know what he means in I 3 e “instruction: … with a gen. of the teacher”. What does “gen” mean?? There are several abbreviations I can’t think of right now that stymie me as well.
