You can start doing gentle stretches and breathign exercises at around 2 weeks if it feels good (always stop if you feel pain or it doesn't feel good), but general exercises it is normally around 6 weeks as you want to wait until the scar has healed

@CoreFitnessforMoms
@CoreFitnessforMoms 16 күн бұрын
If it is duw to a tight pelvic floor then you will need to focus on releasing and relaxing that. But more often it is due to a wide rib cage and lack of thoracic mobility. It is key that you have worked on your pelvic floor, lower TVAs and thoracic rotation before bringing the rib cage in and down. I have different programs that target each of the progressions - feel free to reach out at [email protected] and give me more information and I can help you with what exactly you would need to focus on

It is different for everyone, so if you are concerned you should talk to your doctor - but if your recovery is going well you should be up and doing light activities around the house - no heavy lifting of washing baskets, or exercise - but walking, gentle stretches, breathing exercises, light household chores etc - your pirority should be rest, and bonding with your baby though <3

When I breathe out and perform a kegel I feel my pelvic floor muscles shaking or pausing .
@CoreFitnessforMoms
@CoreFitnessforMoms Ай бұрын
This could be caused by a number of things - have you been checked by a pelvic floor PT? Your muscles could be weak and the "shaking" could be caused by muscle fatigue. You could be using too much effort You could be tight and not fully releasing in between It is best to get an internal exam by a pelvic floor PT so they can tell you exactly what you need to focus on.

They can contribute to it IF you aren't loading your core correctly - this is because to stand you need to use your external core so that is already active meaning the deep core actually needs to work harder. @@CoreFitnessforMoms no I haven’t but I did make an appointment for some tx’s. American docs are ridiculous because they’re actually supposed to refer all of us to some sort of post op care with either a PT or the like, but they don’t! They cut us (through the wrong meridians) and walk out simply bc of the money. On top of that they glued me back not sewed me back. Who in the name of GOD uses glue? One of the surgeons told me that it’s all about how the doc feels and what he wants to use (really?). I never even NEEDED a c section. I delivered all of my children, naturally, but they simply want the money and have zero patience! All hospitals of the world should allow MIDWIVES IN and acupuncturists during labor because ONLY THEYYYY can get the job done, correctly! Docs just want to cut!
