for some reason, these sailors feel incompetent... not sure how or why, they seem to be doing normal things in normal ways, but the way they seem to treat perfectly normal events (possibly for clickbait, but could be for lack of experience) makes them seem like they do not know the first thing about what they are doing. for the kind of sailor who should be considering crossing an ocean, this storm is something whilst annoying and tiring, is not going to be any significant concern... a normal bad-weather day... I mean, I would never cross the ocean without someone waaay more experience, yet I have had experience of such weather regularly on my watches.

Once, in the old days , my friend and i went to Morocco as we used to do every winter , we had a blast during the all winter so on the way back home we left a board with a kid who was watching us and the goats at the point , when we came back the very next year the kid was riding the point at 10fts ...
