We meet up with inspiring people who make their homes in the wilds of Alaska and learn about how they live off the grid sustainably.

Really enjoyed this one. I lived in Alaska from 1985-1995. Your video brought back good memories. My wife and I are currently restoring a 47 year old sailboat finished by an Alaskan fisherman: "Alaskason". Hope to share an anchorage with you guys some day. You're making really interesting, high quality videos. I think your channel has BIG potential. Cheers!!!

@@theadventurelocker I was working as a controller in control towers at Merrill Field in Anchorage, Juneau Tower, Fairbanks Tower and King Salmon Tower. Got my pilot's license almost immediately after arriving in AK. Bought a 2-seat "bush plane" which allowed me to explore the back country. I stayed busy hunting, fishing and exploring. After 10 years, I felt like I had barely scratched the surface. Alaska is BIG.

Very true! We were lucky to time it well and have easy sailing both ways across the gulf, but have seen it get wild!
