If you dont have insuline resistance, t2d or inflammatory there isn´t any good reason to lower your LDLs. Those causes oxodized LDLs ans small LDLs that are those bad LDLs. Your body and every single cell needs LDL for building block for regenerating new cells. So without those problems there is no reason to lower your cholesterol. If you do that, it only slows your healing process.

What is HEALTHY SATURATED FAT in Foods or Oils/Ghee?

Very interesting and great to hear instead of the usual cancer causing, vegan virtue signalling and pro insect protein elitist agenda BS. A video on the great of dairy products like full fat (whole milk), butter, cheese and yoghurt would be good. Well done Dr Bosanquet!

Meat eating pure blood here that doesn't do alchol, drugs or smoke. I am truly fed up of the medical industry, government lies, untrustworthy doctors that advise on the news and after what some of them did to my mother when she was alive. Vegan crusaders, politicians and elites want us to "follow the science", I personally prefer to question the science and follow a moral standard over a scientific one. That being said, if there is balance in the science then that is fine.

Yeah sure. I had a stent implanted last fall to prevent a cardio failure such as a stroke or attack. I work hard on my diet and exercise to control my cholesterol but I am now back on statins and am just fine. I'll stick with my doctor and not you claiming that professional studies are suppressed.

The big question is, what do we do about preventing further glogged arteries naturally????? Hereditiy being a factor in my own case of occluded arteries.
@dennisneo16089 сағат бұрын
Ok. You may be right. However, after a triple bypass last year, the surgeons, my cardiologist and my GP all concur that I absolutely need to be on statins. So obviously we patients are confused. How could all those 'professional medical practitioners' all agree to something inherently dangerous? And, yes, I'm fully aware of a confluence of agreement regarding certain hypodermic therapies, that to all intents and purposes, are DEADLY in their efficacy. Are statins supposed to operate as a trojan horse-type widow maker, like certain sharp objects of recent times?

Oh THANK YOU! Apparently I have familial hypercholesterolaemia, haven't had a gene test but levels indicate it is so. Like total Cholesterol is 7.7, HDL 1.1, non-HDL (whatever that is?) 6.6, LDL 5.7, ratio 7.0 Doctors are freaking out. Was on statins and supplements but ALT was raised so stopped everything. My ratio of HDL and LDL has always been upside down even when overall levels were in 4 range. It went up to 7 6 years ago and was on 20mg statins for 4 years with levels back to 3 (nobody ever checked liver levels), then I had a CAC scan and score was zero at 59 yo so stopped statins. My levels have always been ok before or controlled despite LDL being higher than HDL, so now that I am not on statins and levels are high, I am wondering will it start building up plaque or with a CAC score of zero - that includes no fatty deposits either, is it safe to stay off statins despite high readings? Why don't they address inflamation instead of using statins? There are great supplements for inflammation, cod liver oil, turmeric, boswellia, co-enzyme Q10 for artery health... but these need to be taken properly, otherwise supplements can harm liver or kidneys.

I have heard of these hidden reports. Criminal. I was recently diagnosed with hereditary high cholesterol, lipoprotein A. My doc automatically recommended statins. My BP is excellent, and statins do not change lipoprotein A levels. No way will I take statins. COVID 19 ruined my trust in the health care system, I will NEVER blindly trust doctors ever again. I am changing my diet and lifestyle (no veggie oils), the rest is up to Our Lord. I have faith in Him above all.

Been on Carnivore for about 3-4 months now to heal from IBS, except I bake with Erythritol on Saturdays. Had bloodwork done 2 weeks ago and since Dec, my Tryglicerides went up from 79 to 167, HDL from 59 to 71, LDL from 139 to 556. I did do cardio that morning and fasted for at least 11 hours. I was very shocked! I weigh 139 lbs, BMI is 21, Body fat 4%, lot of lean muscle mass. Lift weights 6 days a week and cardio aboit 25K-30K steps per day. I normally eat 80/20 hamburger in the morning, 9 eggs per day, 4 oz salmon, 4 oz fatty steak and 2 chicken wings. Don't know why my Tryglicerides are so high. Maybe it was the Erythritol, cardio before bloodwork, or did not fast long enough. I will retake it but wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this?
@drphilipbosanquet21 сағат бұрын
Maybe check out Dave Feldman and triglyceride carryover on KZfaq. I honestly don't know as have no real clinical experience with people on carnivore but I have heard him talk about this.

I’m very happy to have founded lately more and more of such talks on bad cholesterol and the curative myth of statins. I have been prescribed for about 15 years now. Today, I’m out of it and stopping talking it. I’m 68. My mother had “high” cholesterol, blood pressure and some kind of heart issue according to her doctors. Yet she lived to be 85!! I would be more than happy to live up to her age! I normally lead a healthy life style, except some stresses caused by my highly narcissistic children, like previously by their father. Even with this trying to have an active personal life and live on my own!

Thank you for this now I know why I didn't want statins. I am 66 and just received one of those doctors letters, it was high because my mum was dying and we were looking after her and like a lot of people I comfort ate so we can do it ourselves by watching how much we eat and cook from scratc, buy healthy food but have our treats in moderation and keep active. I am refusing to take statins and anymore covid jabs.
