This song was recorded from a German radio station called NDR between 1982 and 1984. Search (online) has been active since the early 2000s, when the song was made available online, and to this day no one has been able to give any accurate and correct information about the origin of the song. Facts like the band's nationality and exact year of recording are unknown, and to this day, we have not gotten any information about the whereabouts of the authors, or even the correct title of the song. Apparently there is no alternative online register/archive of this song, since the only source we have of this song is from the cassette tape that Darius recorded from the radio. Recently, a Reddit user found that in the chorus of this song, a synth called Yamaha DX7 was used, there's a preset called Syn-Lead 5, and it's exactly the same sound they used in the song, the Yamaha DX7 was released in 1983, so we may have a basis that the song was probably recorded in 1984, or late 1983. I think Alvin Dean is the singer, that he brought it to the band Statues in Motion, and they rejected the song. They might have made a demo or simply worked on the song and never recorded it. The recording we have could simply be Alvin Dean with a different band making a demo after Statues broke up. This would explain why Billy didn't recognize it at first (assuming that he did listen to the song). If it were a different recording, it might not have clicked with him that it was the song that Alvin brought to the band decades earlier. It could also be that this is Statues in Motion, and that Alvin took the demo when it wasn't used. It would also explain why it wasn't on the re-issue of Statues in Motion's album: the record company didn't have the demo.

Now that the script has been leaked and technology has caught up to the vision, has there been any series effort or consideration to resurrect the project and reanimate it from scratch? The story sounds quite intriguing.

Bewitched ran for 8 seasons, the first 5 seasons starred Dick York replacing him with Dick Sargeant for the final 3 seasons. I seem to remember an episode from the black&white era of this show where Darrin loses his job, Samantha(without Darrins knowledge) helps him land another job...in her attempt, she gets everyone in the bar to mention the name Darrin Stephen's. Now, there IS an episode like this in the Sargeant years(this show did have a tendency to recycle plotlines from the earlier seasons). I rented this VHS tape of lost episode from random tv shows(this was in the mid 90's)..this particular episode was on this VHS. I remembered back then that I remembered watching this in the 70's reruns. Here's the strange part, there is a scene(having nothing to do with the plot) that sticks out in my mind. Gladys meets Endora for the first time, now even though Endora never addressed who she was to Gladys(I believe they meet right outside the Stephen's front door). When Endora tells her she's a witch, Gladys responds by saying "It's only fair to warn you, I know judo". Endora zaps her back into her own house in a full judo robe. When Abner asks her what she's doing, she replied(with a bewildered look). "I think I'm protecting myself from strangers." Now, I bought the dvd set back in 2012. I binge watched every episode several times over and never came across this black&white version of the episode for which I'm referring. I also brought it up in a forum where one of the mods replied, "There was never such an episode". I chalked it up as maybe I only dreamt I rented that VHS(but why do I remember watching this episode in the 70's), also, there is an EXISTING episode that has a call back to that Judo scene....now how can there be a call back to something I supposedly dreamed....very strange.

Provided you're using a modern hashing algorithm, it can be used to uniquely identify any file. It's how some sites filter out known illegal material from being uploadable. They can't filter by the image itself since it's illegal, but they can have the image hashed client-side before it's uploaded and have the hash sent to the server to ensure it's not an illegal image. The hash cannot be reverse engineered into the file it came from. Hashes aren't just how websites identify photos, they're used to identify any file, at any time, using a variety of software. It's also useful for identifying malware. ^^
