Wasn't it implied in the first Yugioh anime when Yugi defeated Seto Kaiba by summoning Exodia that it was pretty much an instant win? I mean, once Exodia is summoned, the opponent is essentially f*cked because there is nothing he/she can do about it? I could have sworn I read somewhere or heard it from somewhere that summoning Exodia is an instant win. I've also recently read on Reddit someone comparing Exodia to the three Egyptian Gods (Slifer, Obelisk and Ra) and saying Exodia is not as strong as the three Egyptian Gods and not even in the same class as them. I beg to differ, as the Egyptian Gods have weaknesses. For example, Slipher's power comes from how many cards the duelist holds, so if you can reduce the number of cards in the opponent's hands, then Slifer is pretty much useless. I forgot what the weakness of the other two Egyptian Gods, but they too are not omnipotent. Their powers are based on some condition(s) which I've forgotten (currently re-watching the original Yugioh anime again to understand the lore). Henceforth, Exodia doesn't seem to have a weakness, at least in the anime. They didn't even show Exodia power level when Yugi used it against Seto Kaiba, and if I remember correctly I could have sworn I saw an infinity symbol meaning Exodia's power is limitless. When any of the three Egyptian Gods are summoned, it isn't an instant death to the opponent as in the anime the opponent gets a chance to play their cards to fight back. However, when Exodia is summoned it means instant death for the opponent. Therefore, Exodia could have beaten all three Egyptian Gods (maybe not together, but one by one) simply by just summoning it.

Yes. Exodia is an instant win; Zorc just happened to be the final boss of the anime so they wanted to spice things up

I believe Exodia could defeat Zorc it's just that he's bound to Solomon who let's be honest isn't exactly in his prime anymore, and can't handle the strain the magic of the Millennium Key puts on your body and soul like he could in his youth.

Nothing in Yugioh will ever be as cool as the sets of 3; the Egyptian God Cards, The Sacred Beasts, and the Dragon-Knight things (Legendary Dragons? Nameless Dragons? They were never exactly clear on the name. It was Fang of Critias, Eye of Timeaus, and Claw of Hermos) and idc if Exodia is technically an instant win, in my head canon, the Egyptian God Cards are stronger (it's something I decided around 18-20 years ago, and im not changing my mind) That said, Exodia is absolutely cool as all hell

What a lot of people don’t understand That EXODIA WAS THE EGYPTION GOD HIMSELF*** he wasn’t comparable to any monsters* the other gods were scared of him so they sealed him away* with chains and different cards for each limb*
