So melodramatic! Despite his 'talent' - big, tall. strapping man with huge hands looks so ridiculous sitting at the piano. I can't stand him for his hulk-size and silly antics.

He is so full of creative energy that he dances on the spot as he improvises . Energy is the key driver and he is a very taste full player .

Uno de los mejores trios en la discografía de Chick y de los surgidos en esos años 👏👏👏

You don’t go from a quiet piece of music to a screaming friggin Toyota commercial. I’ll never come back to this channel after the shock I received from that commercial and never will I contemplate a Friggin Toyota piece of crap car.

I so prefer this chapter of Chick to the Electrik one
now i know why i dont hear him play on acoustic pianos often since they are so flammable

This video cuts out the first two minutes of a wonderful intro, which you can find on jazz story for the bullet channel (I have no connection, and only discovered this accidentally). In any case, it’s a fantastic performance, of course!

This sheer joy of watching this trio work together is so rewarding. One can like or dislike Keith's body movements or vocalizations, but all you have to is watch Gary Peacock's expression of delight as Keith unfolds his song. Jack is the timekeeper of the last half-century, from Chas. Lloyd to Miles to Keith. Genius at play.

The greatest pianist/keyboardist of our age. So thankful to be alive during most of the time Chick was on this earth to enjoy his musical art.

I think it would be hilarious if someone were to isolate his vocals, compile them and then release a record called "Keith Jarrett Sings the American Songbook." 😊

There’s very few piano players out there that can play a melody as moving as Keith Jarrett and his trio with Gary Peacock, and Jack De jeanette is beyond compare on a music communication level

This is one of the hardest piece I've ever tried to play the drums. I had to chart my own drum chart. And I think I'll have to play it another 5 times or more before I dare make a recording of myself.

1991 im a 18 year old, just joined the military, kid, living in a state where i dont know a soul. My first "big" purchase was a cd player and two cds . I had no clue who either of these artists were. But their cd covers look cool. Anita Baker - Compositions and this one. I played this cd CONSTANTLY! This thing still gives me chills.
