I am from 31st December 2999. Yes we survived another 1000 years. Now we don’t actually eat we get charged by solar panels.

I remember 1999-2000 in Norway ,it was special, all the fireworks in the sky for Hours, i have never seen so much before😊. Know it is not much anymore 😏 specially Norway because they don’t sell this big fireworks anymore, just fireworks on the ground in Norway

Hello. A couple of days ago I uploaded videos from the millennium videos too, but from Prague ( first video from Wenceslas Square at 23:35. The second one from Old Town Square with Czech countdown from the main celebration and the third video is a walk through Paris street directly to the main celebration with a monstrous firework. It was a very raucous celebration. It was amazing. Hope you enjoy the videos. The main thing is that I experienced this. It's a very nice memory of a huge celebration of the new millennium. I was stood on Westminster bridge the whole of this very evening. Physically staring up at Big Ben as those hands turned round into a new millennium. It was cold, we were kettled, there were no toilets, it was a huge wait but it was so worth it to be there. I still tell my kids about it every year!

I was not born yet

I was born in 1994 and don’t remember the excitement of coming into the new millennium but now I’m older I can imagine how exciting it would have felt, imagine getting to reach the year 3000

Oh my god, I was only 5 YEARS OLD, when the millennium finally arrived here in the UK!! 😃 I actually can't remember much of the millennium, but I know it happened! 😁 On New Year's Eve, 1999, people were massively energised with excitement. Then, when the clock struck midnight, BANG! _Celebrate good times, COME ON!_ 😅 But, while everybody around the world partied the night away, me & my sibbies were all fast asleep in our beddy-byes, while Mum & Dad had a lovely Thai curry & a laugh all 2 THEMSELVES, APPARENTLY!! 😲 Now, THAT'S not bloody fair at all, IS IT!!?? 😂 That's what Mum & Dad told me, back in 2010, anyway! 😅 LOL Best of luck, take care & enjoy yourselves, everybody! Always celebrate the good times & forgot about the bad times! _Ooh yeah_ (Madonna, in the song "Holiday") 😅 Stay positive! Peace out! 😁✌

Since learning that the new millennium did not start in 2000 but rather 2001 I get annoyed at people calling this the new millennium even though i just found this out myself lol

I’m listening to a tape I made of the BBC World Service on 5975 MHz in Chicago on this night. According to them they used 39 Tons of fireworks for this display.

I was born in 2007, hope to live to 2100

Another 22 years she reigned I’m Glad lovely woman she was. My mother was sad saying goodbye to the 20th century so was I and I was only 17. Though the new century didn’t begin till 2001.
