To think Lauren Ward is actually American. She sure puts on a highly convincing British accent, much better than Dick Van Dyke when he played Bert in the _Mary Poppins_ movie.

Ok is it me or is 0:00 too 0:51 my favorite part of this song because the low notes from the violin in the high pitch music from the xylophones really set the tone for the song. It really shows that the kids are using all of the courage to survive this school, but deep down they already know that this place is hell.

Imagine if Grace had been too tall…she’s very lucky cuz Matilda had to be 4 foot 3 or shorter. If she was a half an inch taller or more, she wouldn’t have been able to do it 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 that’s why the kids are already pre measured before auditioning

I can relate to this cuz when I was younger I always wanted to do Matilda the musical at school and be in it. And so I asked if we could do Matilda the next year and so we did. And I ended up being Matilda! So like Grace, we both got what we wanted and we were both Matilda!

One of my fav parts of this is that all the children who sing with Miss Honey are the child swings!! What a great way to include and acknowledge them in this performance!
