This is honestly the best optical comparison video I have ever seen! Would love to see the Leupold HD 12-40x60 thrown in as it is in a similar weight class and gets little love on KZfaq.

The cohesive bandage can be used as an Ace bandage. Use the sharpie to put your emergency contact information on the outside of your first aid kit. The SWAT-T tourniquet has a smaller profile for storage and can be used as a compression wrap or to secure your splint. The SOF-T tourniquet is basically the same as the CAT Tourniquet, but again a smaller profile.

Great comparison, thank you. I wish more reviews really showed the differences and were to the point like yours, well done. I'm a birder, and I have a bigger normal sized scope that I never end up hauling around, I think that Kowa is in my future.

You mentioned sizing, thank you! Can you tell us your height and weight to give us a better idea. I’m 6,1, 190-195, and have mostly Large, I do have a core lightweight hoody in XL, it’s loose, but not super baggy. Thanks!

How dare you put Vortex in the same comparison as Kona and Swarovski!!!! You must be a Vortex fan-boy. The Optics Gods will punish you for this.

You guys didn't give any distances. If this is at 1200 yds then hey cool but I personally don't need a spitting scope that fits what you're comparing. Obviously the more you spend the better it should be. So Obviously why do a review that only proves what the price tag proves.

I feel obliged to stop and Thank you. now I know which one is for me. And now they have crossfire tier you might want to include. and Razor is much lighter so if carrying on long distance it does make a significant difference.

The Swaro and Kowa have amazing glass quality and even tho they are much cleaner than the vortex I feel I can see stuff better in the vortex in these test, especially the bird at the start

I have owned the Wiser, Tricer LP, and Sirui VA5. I would agree with Brady’s assessment. If you are running an 85mm spotter most of the time, the VA5 is the ticket. It’s smooth and handles the weight well. The Tricer LP and Nighthawk are much closer to each other. Both are very lightweight and buttery smooth. I definitely prefer the handle on the Nighthawk and the build quality is noticeably better. If you have the money, the Nighthawk is definitely worth it. However, the LP is awesome and you will not be disappointed with it.

your review was excellent in concept...above the crowd. However, your analysis is not strictly consistent. i.e. the color in the razor showed up at the start, but your comment came much later. this much color shift must be explained considering only one of the 3 stood out AND it is the most cost. Sharpness is tricky because you can't focus each scope every time exactly at the point of maximum sharpness. in one comparison (about 5:49) the viper and diamondback edge qualities were shown but I wonder if the zoom on each was identical. nit picks but your approach is so goo I thought it deserved it
@gearfool27 күн бұрын
Thank you! You are correct, there is always going to be variables that are imperfect, especially when you're not in a controlled environment. However, I can assure you that the "zoom" was identical enough to prove a point that stood out clear when you had your hands on either of these scopes. Although the footage itself was not perfect, I did my best to rely on my actual experience, and let the footage prove what I had found when using my eye with each scope. Thanks for the in-depth comment!

I’d love to have saw bullet holes in paper at distances too. 😳 Good comparison video. I’m wanting a spotting scope and it’ll be used for looking at hits on targets more so than long range scouting. Any suggestions on the three, because I’d like to spend as little as possible?
@gearfool27 күн бұрын
I would definitely recommend the Viper over the Diamondback for paper targets. Whites will promote chromatic aberration, and the viper will handle that much better than the diamondback. Reach out to us directly at gearfool.com and let us know that you want to make a purchase based on this video, we can likely give you a pretty good deal.
