My understanding is that recycling is a lie. For years we have been supposedly recycling but 90% of what we "recycle" isn't recyclable. Cardboard, yes... Aluminum, yes... Plastic, nope it's not recyclable. Most of what we put into recycle is dumped into the land fill. We used to send it to China but Trump ruined that with his tariffs so they nixed accepting our plastic trash.
