How fast is the water supposed to drip from the filter. I replaced my filter today because the bottom broke off when I picked it up. I lift it up and the water was dripping in a stream.

Helpful, was guessing using dilute bleach, the hydrogen peroxide makes sense.

I read the tests on this on your website and i didn't exactly understand the numbers for tap vs filtered but they were very close. Does this mean it only improves tap water slightly?

I've got a new system and I followed the directions thoroughly and it's literally barely dripping which looks like it's going to take 2 days to filter through.

Put the hot water that has just boiled and pour it into the top tank, the pressure from the hot water is very helpful in launching the filtration process at the beginning, repeat the cycle several times, surely after this it will definitely be easier that the filtration that will happen

Just to get the filter to fit and not leak I had to use teflon tape because the plastic part you screw it into is super cheaply made.

With any pH reagent test kit, you would pour a small amount of water into the clear bottle provided, then add 1 or 2 drops of pH Reagent into it and mix gently. The water will change colour. Now match the water colour to the corresponding colour on the pH colour chart. This will give you the pH of your water. We prefer to remove the Mineral Stones from the blue/white container and spread them out in the bottom tank.

If you're referring to the where tap meets the bottom tank, then yes, most likely you need new washers.
