Well look at you! You have a Capra! Lol! Ok, I'm kidding, if a Capra works for you that's great, and is kinda my point. There really is no perfect crawler, just one that works best for you. West Desert Wheeler actually does some great comparison videos between the two🙂

So your conclusion is besides the terrible lanyard, that it works and you like it and you're going to continue to use it.. I'm going to buy one especially for the USB capability, that function is not listed anywhere else I've seen and I would buy the radio for that alone.

Just seemed like the "sweet spot" for the pinion I was running (15t) sometimes I find it can be a little tricky to clock some motors into position. Pretty minimal trim actually. Or I might be going blind, one of those two 😁

For a lousy opinion, it's pretty decent. My Optic hasn't made it off the bench yet from coming out the box.. busy with work etc.. But so far have almost done the same thing robbing Vfd, OD and Dig out of my Pro.. Swapping out Diffs with left over spools from other Diff Upgrades.. It's such a cool buggy and release from Vanquish. I'm with you on Intelligent purchasing.. knowing when you need to spend $ and when you paying just hype $. The old wheels look perfect.. Cheers🇦🇺👍

Yup, handles just fine. It's not enough where it constantly bottoms out, your basically just restricting bottom travel. I also put a heavier shock fluid in there just to slow the shock down just a bit. Not really jumping ravines with this thing.🙂

there are four 6 channel dsmr receivers in Spektrum's catalog. sr6100at, sr6110at, sr6200at, and the sr6300pm. The manual and the menu don’t even show any type of throttle mixing. I have a DX5 Pro that controls my MOA that I want this to replace. That sucks. Other than that I like it. Nice share my friend! You chose a great color. One of my favorites. Two years ago I bought my dream FJ40 RC the Gelande II Cruiser RTR in red. As a Land Cruiser super fan and collector I’ve enjoyed many hours driving my RC and filming it for my KZfaq channel. Last year I bought a body kit with the intention of making it topless and weathering it. That way I can change out bodies according to my mood. Even bought a scale Kurt Russell figure. Haven’t had time to build it because I’m my wife’s caregiver. I’m not very RC knowledgeable, but your channel looks informative. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with your FJ. Best wishes, Robert PNW

Hello Robert - I thought I'd mention that there's a parallel world to one-tenth scale - 1:12. In that world there are two main players when it comes to hard-bodied FJ40s and 45s. These are WPL and MN Models. Their RTR models are awful, with terrible gearing and motor choices, but it's easy and fun to upgrade the MN Models version, and the WPL also comes as a kit so you can select your own motor and gearbox. Why am I telling you this? Not to try and convert you to 1:12, simply to give you access to more KZfaq videos showing beautifully weathered Toyotas : ) I'd suggest searching "WPL C34" (the station wagon) and "WPL C44" (the flatbed truck). The station wagon is sometimes modelled without the roof and doors, which makes it look very sexy and Jeep-like.
