this is typical corruption in poorer countries, south America, central America, Africa. I had a friend tried to set up a water salination plant and a fishing operation in Africa. every official called him in and wanted over 20% of their profits before licenses would be given etc. And it wasnt just one official, they all want kickbacks from police to gov, officials all the way to leaders in power, It was so bad my friend told them your taking so much their no money to be made, your denying 150 ppl jobs that could change their lives...they dont care, corrupt and dirty. be wary of where u invest...know the risk when doing so in foreign countries

My mother visited Africa on a missionary trip. A lot of it has to do with the government and legal systems there. Not the people. Just because some Ghanaians did that it doesn't mean all Ghanaians are like that. If more Africans or African-Americans or any other nationalities decide to move there and spoke out against the government and legal systems there it would change. Also the corupt UN also has a lot of power in Africa that definitely needs to change. Remember our history ever since colonizers came to Africa and many Africans were taken away against their will everything just went downhill for Africa.
