On one hand, it's possible Vash had some latent ability and was hoping to just scare her back (or make her rethink the encounter), but it only made her more interested in fighting him. If anything, he is a Plant, so his abilities are either personally suppressed because he's afraid to use them or untapped because he didn't care so much. I'd have to rewatch the whole series again, but honestly, it's possible the original intention was just to add comedy to his perverted side. He does like being a goofball more than he does like to fight. On the other hand, It's hard not to find it a little funny he moved at impossible speeds to grope her. Such is the way of anime pervs.

To be fair everything save for a few hard to read fight scenes was better in the manga I’m still waiting on trigun brotherhood damn it

@甘い飯 I wish I could have hope but the trailer doesn’t make me excited the 3d and over all character design just doesn’t fit it for me the art style was never the anime’s problem it did pretty good at translating the manga, obviously a newer anime rendition would be sleeker and shiner but a whole design rehaul is unnecessary tbh I just want maximum actual animated in all its glory

The dub in Trigun adds so much identity to Vash. There's a lot that wouldn't hit the same without the amazing dub.

I watched Trigun subtitled but did see the movie dubbed. I was pleasantly surprised! Bosch's performance was a highlight, and I've enjoyed his work in the other dubbed Trigun clips I've come across

Smoked Gun it's funny because she believes she is superior as a warrior. So skilled she cut his buttons off his coat to show how many times she was close enough to kill him. But what makes it funny is he reduces her death threat to a joke by showing he too could have killed her several times but instead of boast about having a clear kill shot he instead mocks her gesture by showing instead of kill her he would have just touched her boobies lol

The lady has an ability to freeze someone with her eye behind that metal eyepatch. Until she puts it away, the person is essentially hypnotized and time passes by them in an instant. She demonstrated that she could kill him with this ability whenever she wants. He demonstrated he could do what she did without that power in the middle of a conversation without her noticing, but joked about it instead because he doesn't want anyone to die.
