It would be perfect if you didn't continuely switched angles, but nvm, thanks a lot

Great, but the big question is: how do you find the station point of any image!

The video is really good, but the sternum having a similar shape and location as a tie is not ironic. That’s just a coincidence.

Great video! I especially liked how you showed how to draw the spheres and ellipses so that they look 3D! Super helpful for visualizing the head angles! Thanks! 👍😃

How do you do this (around 2:40) on paper?......because both the station point and vanishing points are way off my paper, they're not even on my table! I suspect geometry might help us but i never paid any attention to that stuff at school!
@retromograph389313 күн бұрын
Great vid! ......only, i didn't understand about the diagonal vanishing point! Because your opposite corner didn't quite match up with it. Perhaps i'm misunderstanding though.

Colour is mentioned. Black and white done effective produces plenty of 'colour'. When you look at the b&w photography from the late 1800's and 1900's, the 'colour' in the photos are just wonderful. 'Colour' IMO, often is a distraction from a lot of 'art'. Indeed, the drawing done for us in this video would be lost on me, if it was 'coloured' in.

One of the best perspective videos. At 5:47 the two left adjoined cubes look like perfect cubes (height, width, depth are equal). How to make sure that the height is equal to depth and width, which are on a grid?

Hi Dan! This video is awesome, thank you! Btw, I was wondering if there's a more accurate way of finding the LSP and the RSP rather than just eyeballing them. I use Affinity Designer 2, in case that helps. Thanks again!

11:53 wouldnt be easier to just make a angle of 90° from the middle so we find both sides easier? I got a ruler and if I get 90° degrees I can already see where both point should go

really helpful vid, one question. if I were drawing a line of telephone poles, any tips for getting the width of the poles correct? Seems to be my stumbling block. I practice with cubes however 5 cubes in row will nail the height but the width and gap between cubes is clunky.

Couple of things wrong with this video. 1 You said the further away the light source is, the less defined the edges are, but that is incorrect, it depends on the power of the source, for example, the sun is billions of miles away, yet it can cast sharpened shadows, where as if an artificial light source was used, it would indeed have less defined shadow edges. 2, your light directions are off.
