Hello, Very beautiful images! I have been following your activity on Instagram for some time and I am fascinated. Your photos, videos and reports are very good and beautiful! I am a retiree who returned to photography on film after many years and I show it on the Internet and on the blog, but I am also an industrial designer educated 40 years ago, so I can appreciate your art! I can only support you and encourage you to continue working because you are doing it brilliantly. Best wishes.

No te detengas. 🙏🙏🙏

I mostly photograph in the studio, so the location doesn't typically have much sentimentality for me. But when I make portraits, it is almost always a bonding experience between the subject and myself. When I look back on my old photos, it moves me as well. I recall those connections and that can get emotional. As for owning original art, it is something great if you can swing it. To get started, have you ever considered print exchange? Perhaps reach out of an artist whose work you would like to own, and just ask?

This is soo amazingly inspiring. Am going to try this myself. And just a thought, if we cool the sanitizer down with a refrigerator, it won't evaporate that rapidly,atleast theoretically. Then won't it will be must easier to do the process ? Atleast you don't need to do it in a hurry.😅 Just try if you can and let us know

So trying this the transfer pulls up some of the watercolor paper. Any suggestions?
@filmphotovm
@filmphotovm 17 күн бұрын
Hi! How long are you leaving the transfer film on the watercolor paper before pulling it off? I do no more than 5 minutes. Maybe you're leaving it on for too long? Thats all I can think of at the moment. But I'll think of other possibilities. Let me know! :)

Alternate processes are cool and a great distraction from digital photography. I’m sure you know this already but there is a thing called ‘transfer medium’ a whitish cream that hobby shops sell. This cream allows you to transfer images onto different media, paper, ceramic, etc. If you think about it, photography started with what we might call alternate processes; albumin, cyanotype, salt print, tintype. Your house looks cool.

Thanks! I have tried it. But I think I should give it another try. I remember a class mate let me use some of hers and it was fun yet challenging. I tried transferring on pieces of wood, fabric and stone. I love alternative process photography! We made tintypes during my alternative process photography course and it was amazing!

Thanks for the vid. Couple a questions. 1- you made 3 but want to make more so the question is, you take notes, write down times & on one of the prints? Eg in red circle something with a time to maybe change exposure of/or part of the image? 2- at the end in the dark room, those your photos to the left of the cabinet?
