i noticed over covid if you buy wipes that use alcohol and then use the new readers technique to stay cool of putting a damp towel on the back of your next it also coold you down. I use the wet wipes to wipe the back of my nexk and ears when hot. the alcohol evaporates and cools you down. wipes are a bit wasteful though.

Onyx is the best for me because I can't understand English well. It makes me can't read kindle books. So I read many books from local digital bookstores in my country. Considering that Kindle device can't instal other apps, I prefer other device than kindle.

A couple years ago, I came to same conclusion, but did know about Boox. So I bought a cheap android phone, did not put in SIM card, but 1T micro so. I hotspot it to phone to use to keep my phone safe & uncluttered. I put my music, pod casts & kindle app & kobo & epub. I did the same with used A7 lite tabs. When I am not using it for Google maps, I put screen on greyscale & low light & power save. I am sure I don’t get as good a battery life as my dedicated reader, but not bad. I also did same with old iPad mini. Have a few Apple Books too

Hi - I just found my Kobo a month ago buried in a drawer lol. It's completely dead and the screen says to please charge. However, I can't seem to find the right cable that would fit and charge it. How's the page refresh speed on a big full color PDF like a Dungeons & Dragons manual or a school textbook or a 200-page color comic? (Obviously text would be small.)

I had a BigMe color and lovvvvved the feel of it, but the ghosting seemed worse than Boox so I sold it for a Boox Ultra C. 2 weeks later that got a massive update so I was gutted haha. How is the comic experience now compared to boox? Especially with ghosting/lag.
