your fan charge lead acid at to the max of 6.4volt. and your life04 battery cells to the max of 7.3volts which your fan charging circuit is not design for that voltage. in the end, your power supplied by the fan will not meet the requirement of life04 and definitely will keep under charge. red indicator light will always be on..

I have similar problem after replacing the SLA battery of my 12V fan with lifepo4, the fan's charger output is 14.4V which I thought is enough to charge lifepo4 to around 80-90% but when the battery voltage reaches 13.3V (3.325 per cell), the current drops to around 120mA and it now takes forever to charge. Is it normal to draw that little current at that voltage range or am I triggering some sort of overcharge protection designed for the original SLA battery?

Sir question po para sa FEL6112 model, kapag nakasaksak 12v dc input at naka disconnect AC circuit na my transformer may ilaw charge, pero kapag naka disconnect yung AC circuit walang charge na ilaw

it's spelled Lead but has two ways of pronounciations and two definitions. you're mispronouncing leed it should be pronounced "LED" lead VS leed. You did an awesome job, just that my ears cringed with wrong pronunciation. Death, dead VS deed, red, read VS reed, read and so on.... my goodness I've become a grumpy 'ol man "time for my meds!"

P+ and P- are the battery output. Correct ? Are they also the charging input ? Coz I think that for li-ion tp4056 -- the charging input and the battery output are different terminals.

depends on the BMS. some have separate charge and discharge. The BMS I used have the same terminals for both charge/discharge .

Hilarious short circuit fire! but this is EXACTLY what I need to do - thankyou and I'll be sure to insulate the terminals. You could easily just add an external, larger battery the same way I expect. Nice work. And Lithium battery voltage is very constant, until it hit's 10% or so left, then it plummets. Lead Acid is a longer curve down.

Do not use a larger battery than the original because the UPS will overheat as they not designed for continuous use

lifepo4 since swak sa 6v. pag 18650 pwede pero di mo magamit full capacity since limited sa 6v

Boss ung mini fan with lamp ko po kasi na firefly sira batt. Linagyan ko ng 18650 dalwa nagana naman. Tanong lang pano ko po siya i charge gamit nung built in ac nya? pag lead acid ang orig battery, mas better ang lifepo4. mas malapit ang voltage specs. pag 18650 di yan magamit ang full capacity. iba ang voltage specs ng lifepo4 sa lithium ion
