This is a great version, reminds of something 'Forever Changes', nothing specific but same vibe....hope you take that as a compliment Sean! I saw Diamond Head a few times back in the day. First at the Red Lion, Northfleet if you remember playing there. Always remember they had posters up of forthcoming bands and whenever there was one of you and the chaps people ised to 'F*ckin 'ell Diamond Head are on next week!'. It was always rammoed when you played and although some other bands who played there were decent, DH were so far ahead of everyone....class of your own, blew the mind of this particular 16 year old !❤

So very glad to hear new music from Mr. Harris. The acoustic stuff has a latter day Robert Plant solo vibe. Brilliant. Unfortunately watching this video after hearing of Robin George's passing. Adore the Notorious lp they did together. Cheers

Going to throw my 2 shillings in here, Call Me is my favourite DH song. That song has everything. Dark and light, heavy and poppy, catchy as fuck. Riffs, vocals, bass and solid drumming. I'm 38, I was sitting on a bus to Glasgow 6 months ago, back seat listening to DH. In between songs I overheard what the teenager next to me was listening to...... Fucking Diamond Head as well. Whats the chances. We blethered for 10 mins about music before the journey ended. Mental how music lives on through generations.

I remember seeing Diamond Head at the Bungalow bar in Paisley. Must have been around 1980, maybe early 81. Very short time later they were playing the Apollo in Glasgow (which was quite a big theatre). Be nice for some new releases from Mr. Harris.

It's so underrated! I guess people wanted more songs like "Helpless" but I love all the old stuff. You could hear a Queen influence on Canterbury which in my opinion, shows just how capable of a band they were, and that they were no one trick ponies, unlike some contemporaries of the time.
