If your cement has a fine mesh wire, an electric current will occur through magnetism. I proved it in a science fair project. Modern construction doesn't use fine mesh wire, but I don't do it out of good practice.

Just cut the old capacitor off the leads and solder the new one to the old leads. That eliminates the risk of messing up the pad and is simpler to do. You could even use a crimp splicer if you don't want to solder (if it will fit)

ive noticed on the regular lamp led bulbs that this has been the same point of failure across 4 brands including GE and Sylvania as well as offshore brands. all but one of a a couple dozen of these were a blown capacitor, seems to be an obvious deliberate point of failure.

Bad design

I love your video but I think you can improve it with few simple things: 1) Learn a little about some basic video editing which is adding pictures and text and cutting videos. Then, with that knowledge, cut the video and insert the picture between. 2) You can put your hand behind the component or circuit but it does nothing. Components are small and a camera needs time to focus on them and your hands need to stay stable during that time. So, in your video, you should have taken a picture of a circuit and a capacitor and anything else that you want us to see better, and then insert that picture between the video where you want it to show (that's why I talked about inserting pictures in the video skill). This way we will see clearly what you are showing. 3) if you need to, use a magnifier and shoot a picture through it so we can see the component clearly I liked the video and learned a lot, but with these small improvements you can make it a better one. Cheers!
