Do you think paper is really that important when you're starting with watercolors? Cause so many artist say how paper has to be a priority when it comes to watercolor supplies but not everyone can afford cotton paper and feel comfortable painting on expensive paper. I, for example, only have access to Canson paper.

This is just what I need to get myself going. Thank you and I cannot wait for Part 2 and beyond. What other variation names of the primary colours can one use as I do not have Ultramarine & Alizarin Crimson. I do however have Lemon Yelow, but say that I did not have it, what is a variation name? I have a 24-set tin of paints, but do not understand all the colour names.

Hello Kristine, when you are drawing free (not copying) this is excatly what i am unable to do... i guess this is practicing but i prefer practicing in painting. so what would be the correct way for me to copy the preferecne ? also, i've tried to use the graphite but it stained the paper. appreciate your advise. thank you,
