Anyone in this business will appreciate your knowledge in the industry and this comparison video will surely help so many make a wise choice to improve their video recording. Details are what one needs to make these decisions and the video was spot on. 👍👍

Thoughts on the Canon R5 II so far: - No 30 minute record limit. If you don't use fine mode you'll kill the battery first most likely. I have the grip and always have 2 batteries ready to go. - Hard to beat canon color science and the image you get right out of camera. - Love the grip and layout with dedicated camera/video switch and power button on right side. - Full Size HDMI necessary and appreciated. - 8K RAW Internal but make sure you have a computer and storage that you plan to hammer. - The new batteries are a must have if you want to actually use the camera. - Clog 2 a nice addition probably the most widely used. - Autofocus is excellent I haven't noticed any issues thus far. - Dynamic Range takes a small hit compared to the R5 - To me not really noticeable. - No oversample on 4k 60p "fine" - on my mac you can tell a bit of a difference in sharpness. - Autofocus mode for keeping focus locked if you step out of frame. No Hunting Back and forth - this can be turned on and off. - New powered hot shoe is a great addition adds more audio functionality etc. - I haven't used it long enough or in a hot enough climate where overheating has even come close. I did change setting to "high" right off the bat. - 4k 120p with audio - Image Wobble still there but a bit better. GH7 Crushes it. - Like the new menu's - Will take you a bit in video mode to just run through it to access all framerates and options. - Haven't tested the eye control tracking through the evf in photo mode but I hear it has issues with calibration

Maybe it's echos but it shouldn't be 4 strokeing that far into the wood I would assume your carb isn't tuned right shite gas or needs a carb kit

I'm new to Canon and plan to switch from Sony. Does the wobble only affect a wide lens? What if I use a 24-105mm lens? Thanks!

NickPixelTV.. Cool video my friend. I think I like the R5ii better. But the R5 is great too. I'm still using my Sony ZV-1. I've been a little out of it and under the weather since April 27th so it's been a while. Hope everything is ok on your end.

Your teaching me stuff I'll never understand 😊 Some of the recent drone videos I've seen must have the stabilisation built in because there was an effect that i didn't see before. The movie " Blair witch project" became very popular because their lack of stabilized visuals, shaky camera seems to be a fad. I like the enhanced stability feature. Of course some of us boomers will never understand even if we buy extra brain cells from Amazon.😎 I just ordered an extra 2 hours per day and they were unable to fill my order. 🕛

Much better fyi Sony and lumix also have to have electric stab on or they also get the corner wobbles. I have the lumix and when it’s at 15 mm without electronic stab it wobbles. Sony also you have to engage active steady shot.

What Lumix camera? The Gh7 is unreal what they have done. The only thing lumix was missing was the auto focus but they seem to almost have that nailed down.

@@NickPixelTV s5iix I own this camera and at wide angle like 15mm it has corner wobbles. Once you engage electronic stabilization it goes away. It is one of the reasons lumix came out via a firmware update with standard and high mode for their electronic stabilization like canon. If you use high mode it crops in even more but gives you super smooth footage, but at the trade off of cropping in on your image like they all do canon and Sony alike.

The wobble is still there on the new R52. But it’s definitely better. And with Enhanced it’s totally gone. With the standard digital IS it’s minimal. So not too bad
