Great video, thank you for that. I'm 44, a beginner and have only been riding for half a year, currently an 8.25", on which I recently switched from 53mm to 56mm 92A wheels and I'm thrilled. Now I'm raving about this Powell Peralta as a second board and am considering putting it on either 56mm or 58mm Spitfire 93A wheels. Which components would you choose? Thank you!

Other tutorials say just to hop the front foot, all the spin can be achieved with the back. I noticed your board shift laterally about 6 inches everytime and you have to compensate on landing. Seems like that would make it even sketchier when moving. Not trying to crap on you, just worried if that might be a bad habit to learn, ty

I been struggling with my shut for a while now. Whenever I don't dare to commit, I do a few shovits holding on to a fence or something. Only to remind my back foot how to land on the board.

Disco-Heelfip V.S. Disco-Kickflip. Most people are wrong about this because skaters call it a "Backside-Flip" for a backside 180 kckflip but a backside heelflip for a backside 180 heelflip. So Disco-Flip would be Kickflip by default. Disco-Heelflip would be the other version and has to be specified as such. When you say Full Cab Flip, by default, it's Kickflip. If I told someone i did a full cab flip, they wouldn't assume its Heelflip, would they? Thats means a fakie b.s 360 Kickflip. Same with Blizzard-Flip its always Kickflip by default. If i did a Blizzard Heelflip i would have to say that it was heelflip. So if you just say "Disco-Flip" that is always the kickflip way by default as well. Although Disco-Heelflips are better and a bit harder.

Bless you for this vid. I spend 4 hours this sunday learning it and landed only 3 shove its. I watched your 1st video on shov its, and a few others on yt before going out on sunday. After watching this video, I wish I watched this one originally lol. I saw step 1 in another shove it video, not only is this step really damn fun, but also it does help you rapidly understand how much you can scoop your board "backwards". The front foot push was complicated for me but trying to just half commit, and land with my front foot helped me get how much force to use and how to aim. Step 2 helped so damn much! You mentioned this is your previous video, once I started to hunch over I was like "Ohhhhh" I'm literally just jumping forward. Not doing the shov it in place. I am so glad you mentioned step 3. This one also was a HUGE help. I noticed I could do step 1 without being on the board, and I could also scoop and push and land with my front foot only. BUT when I tried to fully commit and jump the board flipped. I realized that I was still trying to jump the same way that I ollie (off my back toe), instead of jumping off of my back heel. I will try to focus on step 4 my next session. Tip #5 is the biggest one MAN! You gotta just send it a few times, like seriously, its NOT going to feel the same as landing the front foot. When you try to only land the front or left, you will not actually put your feet in the right place. Like you said in the video though, if you can land one foot every time, you are ready to fully commit, Its kind of scary with the shove it because the board can land all types of fucked up ways, but you still gotta get those first few landings, and you can spam it from there. I woke up today and can nail them back to back now. Great video man, I literally just learnt the shov it and everything you mentioned is 100% spot on, I think this one it better than your 1st vid too. Awesome that you were able to synthesize all the mistakes into 1 vid lol. Thank you, I can't wait to get out there later today and try to hit some rolling shov its.

In my honest opinion, after using both of these bearings along with Bones Original Swiss and Bones Swiss Ceramics. First off, again in my opinion, the Reds just were not fast enough for me. I speed skate and bomb hills. I literally used all the bearings I listed in the same wheels and they were all were lubed and in perfect condition when I began bombing a hill. I also then tried them on flat ground with just a little momentum. Bones Big Balls were definitely faster after doing two runs per bearing type. The Bones Original Swiss beat them all. They beat the crap out of the Reds and were still faster than the Big Balls. I also bought the too pricey Bones Swiss Ceramics. They rode super quiet and think they might have been a little faster than all of them. However, the price difference between the Swiss Original and Swiss Ceramics did not justify the big jump in price or the overall speed for the most part. So, if you are trying to decide which Bones Bearings are the best overall, the Original Swiss still are because of the price. But, if you are a person who cleans their bearings once a week or so in Acetone, go with the Swiss Ceramics. Even the mini logo bearings seemed better than the regular reds. No one is paying or compensating me in any way...just my own opinion after using them all.
