It would be naughty with a bad ass motion rig, lol, I read that when Beam NG was being made it was initially for the Quest headset, The quest 2 if I remember right, But Beam NG pulled out, But Beam was meant for the Quest 2, Now imagine if the original plan was done, And Beam was optimized for VR, Dirt Rally 2 would have stiff competition, And the 4x4 stuff would be a lot bigger than it is, Plus if Euro Truck 2 can do VR as open world so well then surely Beam could go to Euro Truck and maybe ask them how they got VR programmed so well, And codemasters, Codemaster done a top job with Dirt Rally 2 in VR, Even the PSVR Dirt Rally was ok, I started Sim Racing when I bought the PS4 and PSVR, Wasted money by the way getting a PS4 to start sim racing, I wish I just got a PC in the first place, Stupid me listened to sim racers telling me to begin using a PS4, No don't do that people, If you like watching racing on TV then you will love sim racing simples, I do Sim racing to help with Anxiety and CPTSD, I am not able to go out and do what a normal person does, I can't even go into a busy town without hypervigilance takes over, and PTSD symptoms kick in, anxiety starts and makes me look and act like I am crazy lets just say, and then i get nightmares when ptsd symptoms have been triggered, It is a long story but because of past violence i am not good around a lot of people, So sim Racing is the way I can go online on AMS 2 and race against people all over the place, And not feel like someone is going to attack me, lol, So anyone suffering mental health issues try a bit of sim racing, Sounds daft but if you have mental health problems then using Sim racing as a tool to try forget your mental health issues, Even for the few hours it is a way of escaping negative feelings that come from mental health, I wish there was a racing place that was linked to mental health where people who got head issues can go to and have a try at proper racing, a racing school for those who suffer mental health, also since I have been doing AMS 2 in VR, I have only had a few nightmares, Where as before the VR I was getting bad issues with nightmares, So is there something in the VR that helps reduce nightmares in PTSD sufferers, But yeah do people agree that a Sim Racing or real racing school was set up for people who got mental health..... Yeah it is a shame though Beam is terrible at VR, I got the Quest 2 so I could do Beam in VR, lol, But now I am hooked to AMS 2 in VR, It is probably the only sim I puts on, I got VTOL VR, And I got No Mans Sky, That is something else in VR mind, if you like space then you will like No Mans Sky, lol, Massive as well, No Mans is a massive game, lol, But yeah AMS 2 around 11pm or after midnight UK time, You will have some top online races, AMS 2 is addictive in VR, And 1.6 update brings IMSA to AMS 2, Also the Audi DTM and R8, How can AMS 2 become better already AMS 2 is a top Sim Racing title... But yeah I think Menatl Health and Sim Racing almost go hand in hand....

Came back to try this again and nothing happens when I start it like just nothing loads game runs fine I have the specs to run it but nothing loads up when I start vr mode I have tried multiple different openxr option none work

i have an issue with beamng vr, i cant play because theres an error saying that my openxr or smt doesnt work

I use airlink and connect to steamvr via it. It is really stuttery and I cannot drive or use my wheel at all

I think it only works if you dissble steam vr home which is known to tank fps

Jesus my guy. Don’t take this the wrong way, but you really need to level your audio. It’s hard to hear you and then you add the sound effects in that blow out your eardrums.

Some recommendations for those with issues using oculus - there is a debug tool in program files - oculus - support - diagnostics- Using this you can adjust ASW, and several other options to try to squeeze more performance out Also make sure in your graohics settings on your pc you turn off GPU Scheduling, this will almsot guaranteed give you a seberal FPS boost if it is disabled
