@@hamshackleton To be fair, The Boys is an Amazon Prime show so you don’t need a TV for it. The screen I pointed to is a computer monitor, not a TV.

It wasn't really a Microsoft cock-up to be fair (other than their architecture). It was a Crowdstrike kernel mode driver (a .SYS file that was marked in the OS as "Do not boot without this") that was somehow deployed containing all nulls, rather than actual code. I suspect something went very wrong between testing and deployment. Back in the "good old" days when printer drivers were all kernel mode, the printer manufacturers were notorious for releasing drivers that would kill the operating system. They still make terrible drivers, they just aren't kernel mode anymore.

I walked this line from Coxhoe Junction to Coxhoe WH in January 1980 when the disused track was still in place. I'm building it at the moment in the Trainz rail simulator. It would be interesting to know whether the platform of Coxhoe WH station is still there under the weeds as it was only a foot tall.

Yes, I know my 'tube name is a pseudonym, but when I first used it, that was a requirement - and most of your regular watchers now know my real name anyway! - - Audio quality - I get this a lot on modern 'budget' films, and often comment that they should turn the 'background' music down, as it is louder than the muffled and muddy dialogue! - - - Miss Toaster must be Tipsy - and watch out, they behave like rabbits! - - Nice spooky background music!
@ZoeKirkRobinsonUK
@ZoeKirkRobinsonUK 3 ай бұрын
The audio quality in films these days is due to the godawful hidden microphones the actors are wearing. They suck at catching dialogue but it makes filming so much quicker and cheaper because you don't have to spend as long blocking off shots, etc. :(

Talking of confidence and not letting things take get down, I never thought I’d be so glad to be bullied at school and never fit into a group fully I always seem to say something silly or not like something the rest of them do, I hate the thought of purposely upsetting someone but now if people don’t like me it doesn’t bother me at all.

Yes, that's exactly what we should all be wanting. Unfortunately politics is like advertising: when you're pushing the same product, you need to try to grab attention by highlighting what you do and the other side doesn't. So we ignore the common ground and just scream at the fringes. :(

i utterly condemn the crime hamas committed against israeli civilians,but this doesnt give israel the right to butcher over 30,000 people many of them women and children, as long as the israeli occupation of palestinian land exists, there will never be peace or securiry for anyone, also you will not defeat hamas this way,you cant bomb an idea out of existence,we need a settlement that respects the rights of all jew ,muslim and christian, i hope you dont mind me commenting on this subject,best wishes in peace ..................jpj

Every journey starts with a train?😉 I was most impressed with the brickwork, l can appreciate the blood, sweat, and tears that went into their manufacture. They start off weighing 2L heavier due to their water content, and their colours are achieved by their position in the kiln. Darkest colours to the centre middle top, ( blues, and heathers, where the highest temperatures can be achieved. The reds, and multi's to the front lower and sides, you would achieve a 70% draw from the kiln with these colours, which is why most bricks are red. I hand made bricks for 18 years, achieving an over all total of some 3,000,000+. They too also found their way into prestige civic projects, maybe in another millennium people will consider the men who made them too? I guess there is nothing new beneath the Sun?🤔

You people really don't understand the United States. Those of us who support President Trump and we are the vast majority will stick with him no matter what his enemies try to do to him. If he us somehow denied the election there will be a civil war. America is armed to the teeth with 500 million guns in private hands.Trump WI also have tge support of the military, state militias, and police forces across the country. The US could be placed under martial law and run by the military while the despised criminal government we have is prosecuted by military tribunals. If you don't believe it just look at any Trump rally. People stand in line for hours and no matter how large the venue its always packed to overflowing. Beware Britain. As the Commander in Chief of the entire United States armed services he is responsible for the military defense of pathetic little England. Considering how Brits treated him I'd recommend that the US not defend Britain or the rest of Europe if Russia attacks it. I think the US should quit NATO.

@ZoeKirkRobinsonUK It's your problem. I see no reason why Americans should make it theirs. We'd be far better off if we hadn't paid for the lion's share of Europe's defense for 79 years since the end of World War II. What struck me most about European history is that it was mostly a list of wars. Why was that. I think Europe always was and still is a collection of tribes. That's the main difference between the US and Europe. If we hadn't been in Europe to enforce a pax Americana I'm sure there would have been more wars. The wars in the Balkins shows World War I never really ended. Even Greece and Turkey were at each other's throats.
@markfischer3626

The power of pardons in Article II Section 2 clause 1 makes no restrictions on pardons. Without a Constitutional amendment any law that places restrictions is invalid. Your hatred of President Trump is quite common in Western Europe although they loved him in Poland. It's going to cost Europe. Europe's one sided trade restrictions on American exports will be eliminated or heavy tariffs will be placed on European exports to the United States. The days of taking the US for granted will end. That goes for your plessed blot, your skewered isle, your England.

I think the problem is ... the IDF by their own sttements are "at war" with the people of Palestine with the objective of removing Hamas and have made it clear they wish to remove Palestinians. Are we at war with Palestine? Do we even recognise their statehood?And when did it even mention worshiping as a Jew.. is is just maybe don't go and help commit war crimes and using your religion as an excuse for it I think this is a classic example of confusing antisemitism and antizionism.. there is a diffeence and refusing to acknowledge there is puts people more at risk. If your fundemental beliefs mean the death of others.. regardless of your religion then that is not ok The bias and misleading nature of this video is concerning

Thanks for the convo. Maybe Britain has saner survivors than we do in the US? We do have a lot of dross here. I can't see maintaining a venomous bias against any group of people - not when a member of that group is a friend or neighbor who'll loan you stuff. Or sometimes needs to borrow the lawn mower. Am I wrong or crazy? And let's not talk about Nixon - he actually had some morals, crabbed and twisted as they were. DJT does not. Someone needs to up his meds, perhaps? Change his diaper...insist he take a nap... whatever. But he can't pardon himself, because yes, that would be admitting he screwed up! He has not, to my knowledge, ever openly admitted to any wrongdoing, although the evidence is overwhelming. I suspect he'll die insisting everyone else is wrong, unfair, blah blah blah... sociopath to the end.
