So I took my dirtbike mudding and in the middle of the mud my dirtbike turned off and hasn’t started since I took my whole dirtbike apart dumped out all of the gas took my nibbi carburetor off cleaned it and I took my engine off and took the engine apart drain all the oil and then I put everything back together put new oil in it and new gas and it’s still not starting and now there’s something leaking out of my bike and idk what it is and it still won’t start and it has compression but not as good as it should do you know any reason why it wouldn’t be starting still or what would be leaking out of my engine?
@SeanSRАй бұрын
no clue. If something is leaking, smelling or looking at it should tell you what it is. You need a compression guage to see what actual compression is, and you should check for spark.

Cool vid. What did you use to cut through the hard throttle plastic to get to the threads?

hacksaw with a metal cutting blade cause the teeth are smaller, took my time and didnt rush it. Good Luck!

@@SeanSR wondering if I could just drill it. Mine has a small hole that lines up with the threaded hole as it is. It’s just a tad smaller
@SeanSRАй бұрын
@@aknmtbr Home depot had a screw to fit the threads. If you watch thru some of my vids the M6 smaller screws held up really well with me crashing twice, never broke on me. I recently upgraded my handle bars to protaper fatties with bar risers and was able to use the original hardware that came with the hand guards.
@aknmtbrАй бұрын
@@SeanSRyah I was going to drill and tap mine but I’ll get some m6 bolts. I cut off the rubber grip ends and I think I can get the bolt through the hole in the plastic on the throttle side. Might trim it out just a tad.
@SeanSRАй бұрын
@@aknmtbr You should cut off the end of the throttle tube and not try to put a screw thru the throttle tube whole. You dont want your throttle sticking or binding when your riding.

I've ridden past this place before (got a 300 Rally myself), but only recently learned they'd developed some offroad trails for range members. Looks like a really cool place to get the kids some safe and legal seat time. How does one go about getting involved? The website doesn't have much info, but I've heard that you'd need to be "sponsored" by an existing member to sign up. Any truth to that?
@SeanSR6 ай бұрын
Call the number on the website and talk to skip. He is the owner, and can answer all your questions. He does like it when people have sponsors but he is willing to sponsor himself for a nice enough person. See you on the trails.

How does he like the ssr and does it hold up good for him would like to have a 450
@mrsbenck11 ай бұрын
I just changed my 2020 DR200S tyres to Xtread MXE24 80/100-21 Front & 110/100-18 Rear a matched set. They are ment to be a Dot approved meduim soft Enduro tyres. The bike feels less stable now & just wants to tank slap. You can feel more rotating mass wen you try to turn. On hard packed red dirt out far west NSW i used to sit on 85 to 90 kilometers an hour with a head wind & 110 kmh, but now im scared around 65 kilometers an hour. So on gravel now i dont dare go over 60 kilometers an hour where ive always riden bikes & was comfortably 80 plus just as long as there no corragations as the DR dosnt like them. Even on the black stuff it feels to twitchy the front end wants to sway, so i hoe they get better with age once the bristles are worn off other wise i think ive wrecked the dynamic,s lf the bike lols on a positive note i now can travel on soft sand & on river sand as before you coulnt go near solft sand & ive had a few slow speed spills due to the factory tyres are rubish off road. I am pretty concerned after my first 30 kilometer test ride today.
@SeanSR11 ай бұрын
I personally run my tires lower psi for better grip. I don’t ride in the road much pretty much all woods for me.
@mrsbenck11 ай бұрын
@@SeanSR Even off road the handling has gone down hill & the bike is no where as stable. Maybe you didn't notice as you didnt do many miles on it before you changed the tyres. If you did you would of noticed a massive backward step in handling unless your only ever riding in soft sand...

How does the Ssr perform compared to the Crf? Specifically brakes, handling and suspension performance? Also have you had any problems with the Ssr yet? I'm thinking very seriously about buying one so any feedback would help me out. Thanks

You should go watch the video I have of me test driving it. The everything is better than my crf. The crf is squishy suspension and the breaks are meh. The SSR was a far better deal for about 2k less otd.
