I've had mine going on 5 yrs. now and I've taken a lot of good pics with it, won a few photo contests myself. I was actually looking at other lenses (Canon) today, some prime and some not and after watching reviews on them I came back to my senses and decided to stick with my big Tammy and save lots of money. I realize more than ever now just how nice a big tele-zoom lens. I can stay in one spot almost always and frame up on a bird. That's a huge advantage over a prime. And when you understand it, what aper's/zoom lengths to use you get better pics with it.

I got a 90D yesterday, it has the 1.1.3 firmware and no 24p/s, only 25p/s. Don't know what Canon was thinking there.

Until you try shoot wildlife in low light. Then it’s crap. I sold mine and bought the Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6. Much sharper and a lot more keepers for $1000

Would you recommned this lens for sports photography, where the subjecst are moving faster more erratic than maybe birds sitting in a tree? And how fast is the autofcous? Thanks for this helpful video, everything else about the camera sounds great.

GREAT VIDEO, I was only off 1 area and that was (spot metering for back lit subjects). There is an ISO Upper Limiter you did not mention here. I set mine no higher than 3200, too noisy in the woods. Thanks for the video even though my comments come several years later LOL

Don’t use exposure compensation much? I use it frequently. Very light sky, exposure competition. Very light/dark subject, exposure compensation. Use it on almost every photo shoot.

I still use a 1Ds MK III. If you can control the light, and don’t need modern auto focus, it rips.

I agree on the incredible artistry of this movie. I'm sure the criticism is coming from the fact that It was somewhat romanticized, and it did have beautiful actors of both sexes. That note of sensuality and romance only added to the enormous enjoyment I got from this beautiful movie. It was very realistic in so many of it's depictions. The perfect, jaw-dropping finale to the movie had many very realistic elements. Native Americans were often cruel to their enemies, whether native or non-native, male or female. Magua would have burned the younger sister at the stake. And the English officer. Very realistic. And Wes Studi's acting! It was marvelous to behold, even though he was the bad guy! He could not have *been* more perfect. Most of the acting was terrific. Madeline Stowe was wonderful. The other two Native American supporting actors were superb. Even many of the extras were excellent. The magnificence of this movie makes up for any flaws 10 times over. .

Hello. I want to tell you that someone has re-posted your videos on the Chinese video website Bilibili and marked them as original, using Google Translate and AI dubbing to obtain profits. I think this matter needs to be known.

interesting video recording and I recently brought a canon 90D also if you live your part of USA where the light is strong and bright at all Time for wildlife photography then you need to set you IOS HIGH and is a problem here in UK for that because the LIGHT changes very quickly and done stay that way for days or even month even FEW HOURS so is a challenge I alway set my camera on shutter priority for moving subject and I use my canon 70/300MM F4/5.6L LENS

I bought one recently second hand in excellent condition for $900AUD. I'm still getting used to it but it's a great bit of kit. I've got it on a 5DMk3 and pretty much always have a CPL on it and it's superb. Bargain.

i bought a 1dx at the end of 2020, and so stupidly sold it couple months later cause i needed the money. That was my biggest regret. I’m thinking of buying it again this year. But I have a imperative decision to make between 2 specific cameras since both are super affordable now. Should I still get the 1dx or the 5dsr? Help 😭

Honestly this sounds like me, I bought a 5D Mk.II in 2014 and ended up selling it in 2015 for the money. Have always regretted it. But back when I bought the 5DII my dream camera was the 1DX so now they’re as cheap as the 5DII was then I figured I’d pick one up. Gear doesn’t expire. In fact I’m a firm believer in using older equipment. The savings are incredible and equipment doesn’t get worse
