This scene is one of the best scenes in any show ever. (I’ve literally just rewatched it just now and I couldn’t get over how well it holds) The whole episode of The Constant is easily one of the best epodes of tv ever. It’s so inventive, and adds to the mystery of Desmond snd how strong his and Penny’s love is. I mean in a show with some of the best episodes and seasons of all time this one episode where everything else almost stops and we focus on just Desmond and why Penny is his constant, every second of this episode is perfect. And Sayid is so great in it, anyone else it wouldn’t have worked but like when he was brought down to fix the hatch computer without knowing what it was he was fixing he was like all I know is I need to fix this and I’m sure you’ll tell me after and that’s what he did here, help Desmond and make sure he was ok, no drama, no questions asked. It’s why so many people always go to him and trust him. He’s the best, so having him being the only one there in this episode was perfect writing. I hate what they did with him after this season to be honest. I can’t imagine the actor was too delighted either considering they took away so much of what made him one of the best characters for four seasons… but I really like this combo of Desmond and Sayid for this, you’d never expect that was what they were going to originally face. It’s all just perfect. 🤍

Mark Greene's death was so sad. He wasn't the best father or husband in the world, but he was undoubtedly the BEST doctor at County General. The show was never completely the same without him.
