Yes, that's crazy. I would never joyn the Night Skate without wearing a helmet. The risk to fall or crash in another person is very high, especially if somebody falls in front of you.

We are happy to present the second edit of our team skater Sarah. Downtown Riding Hall, an edit that reflects Sarah's personality: Sarah always radiates joy when aggressive inline skating and is always infectious. She has fun and doesn't take the sport and her passion too seriously. Enjoying life, rolling together, having fun and simply having a good time. The Monday Night Skate in Basel is always a great experience. The well-known Night Skate takes place every year during the nicer half of the year, usually from May to the end of September, once every two weeks and always on Mondays. The Monday Night Skate brings together inline skaters and roller skaters of all ages and abilities. It's a colorful mix, right across the population and that's what makes it special. Information about the organizer of the Monday Night Skate, as well as the dates and routes, can be found here: ► nightskate.ch/ We from SkaMiDan are always there too, because it's just great to see familiar faces, skate together, skate to the beat, talking and tricking around. If you want to participate too, then just come along, you don't need to register or have any special skills on your skates. However, we recommend to be able brake and stop. If you still have difficulties with skating or would like to improve your skills on inline skates or roller skates, then take a look at our website. We offer local skate courses in a wide variety of disciplines and for a wide range of abilities. You'll also find lots of blogs and free web videos, i.e. tutorials. In addition, you can also find beginner and professional equipment, protectors, skate backpacks and all the accessories that are simply a part of skating. And best of all, we use the equipment we sell ourselves, test almost every item we sell and, as passionate skaters, know our stuff inside out. If you have any questions, you can of course always get in touch with us. Hello. I'm learning a lot from your videos. Question: Are you skating on 84mm x 3, 205mm Nexus frames? Aren't these unusually short? What size are your boots? Do you use them for ease of turning?
@skamidanen
@skamidanen 3 ай бұрын
Hey there, yes for this video I've used my Powerslide HC Evo with the 205mm Nexus frame and 84mm wheels (banana rockered). My size is EU 42 = 26,1cm foot length. I really like the manoeuvrability of that short frame. However freestyle slalom skating is easier with a bit longer frame. I recommend a 225 nexus frame for my shoe size or 235mm.

The longer you skate, the less you think about falling over and the more tricks you try, or the more carelessly you skate. What's more, it's often not your own fault that you fall, it can also be dogs that unexpectedly run in front of your feet, a car that takes your right of way, etc. It's always good to wear ptorectors and a helmet.

Can we use any pair of skates in the skate park if you just wanna ride down the ramps and maybe jump some stairs?
@skamidanen
@skamidanen 4 ай бұрын
You can use any pair of skates to ride down ramps and stairs. However I don't recommend to use softboots fir this case. I recommend hard boot skates, because they give you a much better stability, support and control, so the risk of injury is much lower. Moreover it's much easier to do tricks, riding ramps and stuff with a hardboot skate. Using soft boot skates for this is risky because you can easily twist and break your ankle. www.skamidan.com/?lang=en
