Just sat through this whole video and didn't realize it only had 500 views! The quality of this review is incredible and I appreciate your comparison between these two models specifically, since there aren't many videos that talk about these two gimbals together. I recently purchased the flow and was wondering if I should return it for the Smooth 5s and this video was very helpful for me. Keep up the great content!

Hi, Jeremy, I'm always fascinated and appreciated your videos. Please would you tell me is there any option to enhance the X4 Dynamic range post processing with "Lightroom or Photoshop"? Photo tour is very important as well as Video tour....I have been debating with my self which one is way to go?.... X4 or One? Thanks you in advance.....

This technique seems to have been very successful for you, congratulations. Unfortunately for me, however, I would lose 90% of my real estate clients if I delivered images using this technique. Like you mentioned in your presentation, "they are not the best" images. I would agree many realtors just do not care and in reality even with bad images, appropriately priced homes sell. My clients realize that the images do not sell homes, they are simply used to attract attention to a property in order to facilitate a showing. My clients demand the best images as they recognize, that for them, the images are more about building their brand in order to acquire new client listings. In my market, to produce magazine quality images, 50+ images are going to take at least 2 hours to develop. I do not lose any income as my clients are willing to pay more in order to acquire better images. Bottom line, I shoot fewer jobs but produce the same income. Just a different business model that new photographers to the field may want to someday consider.

The way I see it and tell those who follow my channel is simple. Do what's best for you in your marketplace. While it used to be much much more, this style of imagery now only comprises about 20-25% of my current income for the market I'm based in, but that is an extra 20-25% I would have missed out on if I did not offer these lower end, investment property shoots. Again, this is not meant to replace higher end images, it's meant to supplement your income by offering services to investors or cheap agents. They may not be your cup of tea, and they definitely are not my cup of tea, but the harsh reality is that agents buy a shit ton of them from me. If I was to get rid of this lower end style, I would simply lose that extra money I'm making that requires less effort, input and time from my side. If I only offered the style of images I wanted to create in my marketplace I would be out of business in 2 months. For me, I'm all about making money and this is just another easy income stream for my RE photo/video business.

I can’t imagine this type of workflow for anything under 2 grand. Just insane, don’t know about you but most agents I know in many markets don’t want to spend no more than 3-500 depending on your market. I am not willing to color grade like this for that low. Crazy, I sure hope you’re getting top dollar because if you’re not you a god damn fool. I sell my videos for 325, straight point and shoot, no fancy transitions or effects. Takes 30-40 mins to shoot about hour to hour and half for editing. Can spit those out all day long and easily bring in 4 grand a week with other add ons
@jeremydeihl
@jeremydeihl 8 күн бұрын
Well we all have our opinions and workflows, but I can tell you this workflow typically takes me 2 hours on site including photos and about an hour at home to edit everything and my charge to the client on that is over $500 so it sounds to me like I'm actually making more than you in the same amount of time. Sorry if my technique and the editing workflow I have built makes you mad? Haha But on a more serious note, I'm all about building procedures that would typically take a long time, and shortening those processes so it allows me to do a higher quality of work for the same amount of time most can do lower quality. It's why I can charge the prices I do and it's why I'm the busiest videographer in my area for real estate services.

@@jeremydeihl well 500 a video is not bad, color grading on Divinci looks like a nightmare. Maybe i came off to harsh on the fool part but I did color grading on slog 3 for a bit with premiere. Took me forever and finally came to my senses that most agents don’t know the difference. Still shoot on slog3 for dynamic range, just now I use 2 adjustment layers over the clips. 1 for the rec 709 and the other for a simple S Curve. If I could get 7-800 plus a video then I’d definitely treat it more like a movie edit production

Thank you! I binge on your videos trying to learn this skill. I'm super new obviously but I'm getting confused with all the other programs. Can you not do all the editing in InstaStudio? There's DaVinci which I appreciate is free. If I will then move to Kuula or Matterport also do I still need DaVinci? Do you go from the 360 camera to InstaStudio to DaVinci to Kuula? I have a drone and still photos also and trying to see how pros compile it all as a package for the client. Any help is appreciated!

Newbie here so forgive me if you have covered this. How do you take the drone shots to add for the tour? Is it a panoramic, multiple shots piece together or a 360 video?
@jeremydeihl
@jeremydeihl 16 күн бұрын
I personally use the Insta360 sphere camera that attaches to the Air 2s, but most drones also have an ability to do a 360 pano shot and you can use that as well. My Air 2s makes the 360 pano without any input so it's pretty easy

Have you tried using your Ace Pro on the Smooth as you did on the Flow? If so, what were the results? Thanks
@jeremydeihl
@jeremydeihl 16 күн бұрын
I have not tried this yet, but I have 0 doubts it would be a better result because the Smooth 5s AI has face tracing that does not require you to use an application so you could do face tracking with the Ace Pro for walking and talking on the Smooth 5s AI

With you on the catagories (if not the brands). i went for the Ulanzi cage - one cold shoe on the side means that you can use the screen unobstructed. Speaking of Ulanzi - I've been using the Ulanzi GO Quick II quick release mounts with my go pro and other insta360 cameras which give a nice quick release system - I've put one of the 1/4" screw thread bases onto the Ace Pro quick mount so I can move any camera onto any mount with a quick button press and twist - no more undoing the bolt on the fingers to be able to change mounts between systems. I'm wary about those multi mounts - probably because I had a cheap one years ago which didn't perform that well for me. One selfie I do like is the Telecin 10000mAH battery powered Selfie stick - compact enough to stick in a (largish) pocket but extends out to 90cm and can power the camera a whole day plus. have you tried gaffer tape on the back of the remote? Not done it myself either by tend not to go into water with my gear that much. But yes, the Preview Remote is far easier than using my phone to set up and control shots.

You make real estate video so easy but your kind of work is only for urban dwellers. Try to doing it in a poverty stricken rural area where the real estate agents do all the photos themselves because they can’t afford to lose any portion of their commissions!

How about the free Zillow floor plans? I've been offering them for cheap because they are free to me and only takes the bare minimum of 360 photos. I haven't tried to verify the precision and here my agents don't mind just tagging it as an "estimate and should be verified by buyer". I'd be happy to hear your critique of them.
