Its Joust's spiritual successor, is team-based, and actually has big 10-person real-world arcade cabinets! They're really fun if you ever have a chance to play. Its definitely A retro gamer dream come true, if not one of yours, haha (I believe the horse dream game will happen one day ✨)

For anyone who didn't know this game was made in part by the company Schleich which is a toy company. I grew up with these toys and I noticed quite a few of the assets are based on the toys! Fun little detail that I imagine was done to sell toys but as someone who's grown up on these things it's very nostalgic. Might be my push to actually get this game tbh.

Looking back at all these videos YTbers made, it was such an overreaction… You don’t HAVE TO buy stuff, you don’t NEED new horses… What’s the difference between buying lifetime rider (which was £50 for me) and paying for the Sims 4 (goddamn expensive) You’re just buying a game. That’s it. FREE UPDATES. You don’t pay for quests! No DLC locations!

I loved Sherlock Holmes the awakened. And I hope we get more Sherlock games with young Sherlock. If you read the books it’s more fitting than the older Sherlock, he was too stoic, even for Sherlock. In the books Sherlock does show feelings on multiple occasions. The developers did a great job bringing Sherlock Holmes world of logic & reason into the world of madness that is Lovecraft. It was more fitting that it would affect Sherlock.

Its almost as if, if you don't abuse your horse they wont try to kill you. I would say I cant believe this kinda thing happens but I know how terrible humanity can be to animals.

when designing your first horse, its supposed to really bond you two together and nothing will ever separate you, but its always the most low-leveled horse that you will never touch again

I remember when the gen 2 Morgans came out. They looked so good and so realistic. Now they are just looking so clunky by the realism from the horses coming out.

Ugh I hate Emerald Valley Ranch... Wasted $55+ on that broken pos sad excuse of a "Game" and it didn't matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get a refund. Their submit a ticket page also didn't work. Infuriating...

So interesting how in gymnastics that having a minor imperfection in your form (which could lead to injury) docks points off of you. This shows how in gymnastics, a move being done safely is considered in the scoring. When it comes to horses, the appreciation of safety seems disregarded.

I have a personal story that may or may not be plagiarism and I have mixed feelings on it, but I kept quiet, because I ultimately got what I wanted? I joined a patreon for a fairly popular KZfaqr years ago (+1million subs) and sent them a video idea/request relating the game they talk about to a rare disease that effects my family member. I went into a ton of detail, giving them tons of potential avenues of research and ideas... And apparently I did such a damn good job it became the blatant outline for their script. Like, I'm glad I covered things well enough to not merit corrections, and I didn't do that good of a job because it only hit 150k views. And I got a shoutout for the video idea, but I did way more than just provide the idea, and wasn't told they were running with what I just sent as an informative message. But still, that's, like, 150k eyes on a disease rarer than being struck by lightning, and whose prognosis is determined largely by the speed of diagnosis. I kinda feel like there's no point in rocking the boat. But it doesn't feel nice, even when I literally might have helped save someone's life with this. And a big part of it is that it means that your own words get taken out of your control- I would have added some things if they had told me, if they had worked with me on this. Folks should try getting denied credit for their work and see how it feels.

Not only should they really not even have early access yet but the only teams that should have any kind of MMO/online multiplayer feature upon release are large studios. Small projects like this should be focusing on making a strong, finished base product and then they can worry about trying to expand and add multiplayer later. Start with something smaller, finished, and good quality that people will enjoy and you'll have more luck getting funding from them for expansion.

Hah! Funny guy, the one that complained about the dutch warmblood. It has an open studbook just like any and all other jump-breeds, so Rattle marveling at how good it looks doesn't matter because there is no specific "look" to those kinds of breeds anymore if there ever was. They are all crossbred in and out with each other so there is no standard "look". But yes, the model in Rdr2 is nice regardless and I know that is what they were saying, but it was still funny how it played out.

1:21:10 I've been checking ETG still on the game store because im curious how low it will go, as its got already a VERY big gap down in rating compared to most 'horse' apps. And today it went down to 2.7 in just 11 days since it had gone to 2.8 I think it really demonstrates how much of it's community feels about the state of the game

Testament of Sherlock Holmes has some good environments with excellent atmospheres but the longer it goes on the worse it gets. There’s so much about it that pisses me off. Lots of “locks” that are poorly created logic puzzles or sudoku games - Holmes doesn’t play logic games, he uses reasoning to solve problems! Apart from Crimes and Punishments the studio’s output just comes over very amateurish.

I was kind of suspicious of this, because i had bought a 10k pack of star coins a bit ago, it said it would charge me 87 usd (which is already a lot, but ended up charging me OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS.

I'm watching these videos as an outsider when it comes to liking horses. It kinda looks like you guys need a dev team that are a mix of giving a shit about horses, and not giving a shit about horses to have a nice mix of assholes and people who are normal. lmfao

As someone who used to be a programmer but left because of how frustrating the industry is dealing with a client who had no understanding of what’s a reasonable ask and constantly changed there min and demands updates when their in the middle of their workflow is beyond infuriating and multimillion dollar production team often say to don’t get paid enough to deal with all that let along a solo developer carrying the game on <$15k. Add ignoring recovery times and turning up at her gosh darn house to talk shop and she’s asking to be fired as a client. I mean if this game had come out Shoe would be getting most of the credit for essentially just harassing the real devs daily

Not gonna lie actual stables have this much drama sometimes there’s the famous dressage rider who embezzled a bunch of funds from the city. In personal experience my stable was full of mildly racist unstable trainers who barely paid attention to us during lesson because they where to busy having inappropriate conversations, who eventually where all fired or quit because of a spiral of all falling out and threatening to make public accusations of animal abuse against each other, did I mention some of them lived in the stable. Edit: I forgot that the owner was in prison, got out and raised a bunch of money on the story of turning his life around that mostly went to upgrading the unheated kitchen and break room and then he ended up back in prison (I think for financial crimes) Double edit: I forgot to mention the stable specialised in teaching police horses and disabled riders so there was more consequences to there negligence than if all this was at a typical stable.

The fact that these people outright deceived the community that put their money, trust, and resources into this game is outrageous. People expected compensation, or in other words a game from this team and ended up losing more than they gained (practically gained nothing in that sense). It is outrageous and depressing for those who put their efforts into helping this game grow and thrive. Stealing and lying is never okay especially in this scenario. Hopefully a game can become of this and put some people’s minds and hearts at ease someday.

At this point I am going to just get my old laptop fixed up and just work to collect all the old pc horse games because all of them are far better than pretty much every horse game that’s come out recently. Plus half of them look better, the horse models in the Horse Illustrated pc disc game were nicer than the models used in ETG now. Competitions at Rosemond (not to be confused with Legacy of Rosemond Hill), you could make your own horse and for some reason I remember you could make your own cross country courses. The Farnam racing game was awesome despite the flat pixilated graphics, the Horzes pc games were awesome too! Same with the Saddle Up: Time To Ride and Time to Ride: Saddles and Stables. One of those had a paranormal mystery arch to it that was super cool and unique.

Holy moly. This whole situation is madness. You made it pretty interesting, even though I really could care less about horses or horse games. The email from the coder's partner was mind-bending. If I read it properly, the coder was in a three-way relationship and the second girl ran off to be with shoe and joined her and her husband. Sometimes.. sometimes people make their own lives more complex than necessary.
