As a Premed who went to PA school, I’m glad for my decision, Doctors at my school are sad and depressed. Science is interesting but when it comes to clinical work , policy and bla bla. Overwhelming, and overworked. I’m an academic. I like learning and acquiring knowledge. But clinical clinical work is just brutal

I’m a 2nd year resident and I remember first starting I thought I could live in my old ways but you really can not, it’s a shiz show, how many times I tried to find stuff and live in junk so after 4 months of doing that I changed to living a clean life, might have a little ptsd but who doesn’t.
