Which drill bit did you used to drill the holes?
@twisteddesignco
@twisteddesignco 5 ай бұрын
With these lights which are the Better Homes and Garden 20ct from Walmart I use a 13/16” forstner bit, you can order one online or purchase them at a woodworking supplier like Rockler or Woodcraft

Hey, thanks for the vid. Question you show that the one side is out .007 not alot when you consider .007 over the 15" run along the axis. How ever. do you think if you adjust the track rollers and by 1 tooth on the belt closer to front it would fix that issue? Thats where you woud get the adjustment or even a bit tighter on the belt? I am thinking of getting one and that accuracy is fine for what I will be doing

Thank you. I have ordered this machine and this has been helpful to know what to expect. Do you think that the 300 watt spindle is more than the stepper motors can handle? Maybe sticking with the 60 watt would be better matched to the power of the stepper motors?
@twisteddesignco

There would definitely be less issues if I ran the machine a lot slower but it already isn’t very fast so I’m still trying to find the happy medium.

Can you do a detailed project run down? I’d like to know your speed/feed rates. I plan on using it with hard wood as well so I curious to how it runs on it, you did mention you had issues due to the play in the Z axis. Did you ever find a solution for it?
