Us in the south use air conditioners and refrigerators at campsite with water and power. Or some of us are lucky enough to own RVs. That’s how we camp in 100 degree weather. Love the videos Adam.

I camp in the summer time and find it easier to do it if I avoid AC as much as possible. I do my best to just get conditioned to the heat. At the end of the day when it's time to go to bed, a cold shower will cool me off well enough to help me fall asleep. Remember to drink a lot of water when the weather gets warm. I feel like it's a hack everyone forgets/ignores.

Turned your tent into a greenhouse taking those ceiling covers off! Hope the ac was on for Chester or it was worse to put him in the truck. Looked like a mosquito hell out there!!

You would think a more functional tent with air insulated walls would be better than clear see through plastic.

I noticed you have a generator Amazon has a air conditioner and heater for two hundred to three. It's a combo for tents and rv. You can get just an air conditioner for 150.

I didn't expect it to be cooler inside when you left the ceiling panels open. It would warm like a green house

Burn sage at your campsite and it will help keep mosquitoes at bay. It wont completely get rid of them but it will definitely cut them down in your area. We usually put it in our campfire but you can just burn it like incense too.

Why would you take the roof panels off and allow the sun to cook the inside?

Hell no, Arctic Air sux,u gotta be in a dry air environment,I had 1 in my garage it was useless. ,get a portable ac,or they make good ones 4 about 400$ ,if it doesn't pull air out it's not gonna cool. I'm old ac tech. It's gotta take the hot air out. In Florida we have to have ac!! I have 3 in my travel trailer I live in full time. Good luck

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to freeze the cooling pack in the freezer or maybe you could have put it in your cooler for a little while.... It would have worked a little better for you😊

To answer your question about how we camp in the south….. I live in Alabama, short answer is WE DON’T, it’s usually in the Spring or Fall and if we do “CAMP” in the summer it’s with an RV with lots of AC running the whole time! And it’s usually beside a lake or river or at the BEACH! 🏖️ (todays high here in Bama will be 99° with a heat index of over 100%! It’s HOTTTTTTT!

I’m in Tennessee where we get temps in the 90s and 100s a lot. In a tent your best bet is to keep air circulating, windows open to vent, and shade trees. Cold beer under the neck doesn’t hurt!

Hey Adam! Try the zerobreeze mk2 or the ecoflow air-conditioner. Both come with a battery pack and can run off your portable power pack.

Brother, I’m in the south. Recently quit my job as the conditions were 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Being soaking wet by 7:45 AM makes you envy KZfaqrs like yourself that get to do it by choice. Definitely not saying you deserve to be hot though. This stuff STINKS! Anyone that wants a mid 30s electrician in the north…. Just say when! I’ll take the snow lol

I'm surprised you didn't leave the windows covered. Those clear plastic windows act as a Greenhouse and allow all of the UV rays in.
@Saskatchewan1984

Try get it in the shade and leave your roof covered and windows covered as you basically turned your tent into a greenhouse when you removed the roof covers , and window covers , also I’d say for that heat might need a stand alone ac unit and generator ,or power pack

The heat wave was brutal here in Michigan too. It was even hotter in Canada. Those temperatures/humidity levels are dangerous for both you and Chester. Time to reschedule the camping trip when the weather has become sane again. With the bugs on top it must have been miserable for both of you.
