I think wooly world was meant to be like island, and crafted world like yoshis story.

There’s a youtuber that I forgot the name of that made an idea for a bowser game: Bowser Jr got infected by the goo from bowser’s fury and messed up the mushroom kingdom while the mario brothers and peach are on vacation, so Bowser has to command his minions to save his son, and at the end bowser goes home with bowser jr with bowser knowing nobody will know that nobody knew that bowser is a hero

I feel like the WiiU version is the best way to play the game since you get to experience the art style in full glory, but the 3DS version would easily be the best if it ever gets ported and has the same graphical beauty of the original. The Poochy dash stages are more compelling than basic bonus stages in my opinion, and being able to create custom Yoshis is a great mechanic.

I agree! Crafted world does some things better than Woolly, but it also does quite a few things worse. Crafted is still a pretty good game, but I’d rather have something more consistent in quality like Woolly.

But it’s very interesting that in co-op u can ride yoshi if someone is playing as yoshi which makes an interesting way to play the game.

My personal favorite Yoshi game is Yoshi's Woolly World, also one of my favorite video game OSTs of all time.

I think Yoshi as a character is fine as he is, with the flutter jump and tongue, I think having those powers and not being able to use power ups is already a great trade off. However, the immortality is what makes him unfun to play as, in my opinion, Yoshi could shrink when taking damage like a normal character, and any power up should act as a regular mushroom for him, just increase his size. Maybe even make so when he's small he can't eat enemies, I don't know. We've seen baby sized Yoshis in the original Super Mario world, so I don't think seeing a small Yoshi would be a bad idea.

If you have a midrange pc you can get cemu running yoshi woolly world at locked 60 in 1080p, you just need to enable async shaders in the graphic settings and use the vulkan back end. i personally have a 1070ti and i5 9400f and i get locked 60fps at a 1080p upscale

Can’t forget Mario kart 8 gave Yoshi a ton of new voice clips- used in later games like super Mario party and such- heck even before Galaxy 2 there were new voice clips sprinkled in Strikers and Mario kart double dash/Wii- party 8- etc.
