One way to achieve success is to stick to little seasoning. Salt and pepper will get you a win the first time. I do agree, salt pepper smoke for the easiest best brisket.

I'd do potatos instead of rice. Rice isnt safe to can for people. 🤔 I'd also leave it chunkier and mash a bit before serving to the dog

Thank you for this, will try with a brisket. We canned a beef curry with minimal liquid in some pint jars, and then got a bit paranoid. We fridged the lowest level one and ate and just fine. Your video has reassured us. New to canning, but love it! Hardly anyone in Australia knows anything about it, but it's addictive! We have a presto and it's great :)

Hey, found your channel while searching for a recipe for pear sauce. We have an old pear tree that produced a ton of pears this year. I hate to peel pears also, so I loved watching you prepare yours! We also make maple syrup, so I'm using that to sweeten mine. Thanks for the video! Blessings, Marie

Right on! I’m so glad you showed the dry method. I’m new to rebel canning, can you explain why you prefer the dry method? Is it a texture preference? We currently freeze ours but I’d love to can some too.

@Irishcream216 Жыл бұрын
A bit late, but did you mean during storage? If so, it's generally doctrine that this can hide a bad seal and trap moisture. Jars that have been properly sealed should not be stored with the rings on. Hope that helps! 🙏

I love when Kroger has the 99 cent a pound sale on pork butt. I bought 3 last time and canned 2. I have one left I’m going to try this with that one! Been trying to can as much meat as possible right now. Once I wrap in tin foil I just put it in the oven at that point to save my smoker pellets, we live in a colder climate and that can eat up our pellets quicker when it’s cold. Thanks for the recipe!

WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW I am going to say this because I have never heard any doctor say it. A cow has 4 chambers because it's supposed to eat grass and it takes a while to digest that, humans feed them GMO corn and they have over half their bodies in cancer when they go to the slaughterhouse. A buzzard eats roadkill because mother nature made him that way, you don't see it in a pasture grazing with the cow, his body is designed to digest rotting food. Cats and dogs have an intestinal tract that is small to eliminate meat waste within about one-half hour, people give them processed foods and now they get the same diseases as humans, they were not designed to eat what humans give them. Every animal, yes, we are included are designed a certain way, we can't change that, and when we do, we create sickness instead of dying of old age. Humans have a very long track, it takes a while to digest and eliminate food waste, this is the same as any plant-eating animal. The gorilla, the animal that is closest to us, eats plant-based and has the strength to tear us apart. They get their protein from plants, and so should we. Many years ago when the government started the food pyramid and taught it in the schools, the meat industry was the biggest contributor, so they got the big spot. The studies show that the people that live the longest, are plant-based, no processed foods, no dairy, no meats, no processed oils, growing true foods not GMO, and eating true greens, like dandelion leaves and lambs quarter. Eating true fruits, not chemical-infused strawberries they have at the front doors of a store. Every new diet that comes to the market has something to gain, there is usually someone behind it that wants to make money off the backs of humans that don't know any better. I was one of them until I reached 40 and started to investigate the food and medical world. I spent the next 15 years studying and the facts are in front of us, we just need to use our brains and stop listening to every doctor. I am a nobody, just someone that is sick and tired of people taking advantage of humans who can't or won't take the time to investigate what they are feeding their families. My husband said when he ate meat and processed foods he felt bloated after and had to sit down for an hour to have his food digest. He had a triple bypass and the hospital tried to give him pancakes with butter and syrup for breakfast, hamburgers, and fries for dinner. I was furious, that food was why he was there. I took over and started him on a plant-based diet with no processed foods, he started lifting weights and doing 100 pushups at 3 months after his heart surgery. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A PACK OF COYOTES RAIDING A CORN FIELD, NO THEY RAID THE CHICKEN HOUSE, OR A DOG CLIMBING A APPLE TREE TO GET TO THE APPLE? PEOPLE STOP FEEDING YOUR PETS WHAT THEY DONT EAT, YOUR KILLING THEM AND GIVING THEM HUMAN HEALTH PROBLEMS.

my dog loves to graze on grass if I let her, and jumps as fast as she can to eat pumpkin and mango. This is not offered to her often, but if we drop it, she loves it. I get what you're saying, but these domesticated animals are not the same internally as a coyote or wolf, just as someone from Chicago wouldn't eat the same as a someone from a native tribe.

For the first grind, cut the meat into long strips. The reason is that when the worm grabs onto it, the meat will feed automatically without having to use the "pusher". It saves time and fuss.

I've been terrified to try brisket for years. All the recipes that require hours of smoking and various sprays, rubs and mops every 27 seconds. Brisket was on sale on Thursday, I bought one and did exactly what you said Friday... what a beautiful piece of meat. Everyone raved. I only had 4.pints to can up when it was over so I sent my husband for 2 more and cooked a 22 pounder last night, canned it up this morning. Thanks for the video!
