Given that Meredith has had help from everyone, she realistically wasn’t alone. then the love of her life died she had children to take care of and while she had help from everyone around her it doesn’t seem like she didn’t get to grieve in the way she needed too and it’s just a whole lot of built up anger.

This show was created around a STRONG story that took place in a hospital. There were many medical procedures and problems, but the story was always surrounding THE CAST. Shonda did amazing writing new people in, and saying goodbye to those we loved. There was a point though where Shonda stepped away as a writer from ABC, yes it is still created by her, but VERY rarely does she write for this show. There were some big mistakes in casting. Season 14 episode 24, I truly believe that was the last episode that was done before things started to change. The show now is a “Medical Drama”, this writing team treats small intern relationships like an after-dinner mint and the characters as disposable. This includes EVERYONE in Meredith’s life. The story is much more about medical procedures, hospital problems, insurance problems, and medical licensing. It has lost most of its grit. Now everyone is asking, why won’t they stop? Well it makes them money. Those of us who were 15, watching season one when it premiered, we are not their target audience anymore. Funny enough, Ellen Pompeo isn’t their target actress anymore. It is becoming the Law and Order of Medical Dramas.

One day I would really like to hear Meredith acknowledge that Richard has been more of her father to her than Thatcher ever was.

I stopped watching after season 17-18. They killed off or got rid of all my people.

This is just my guess, but Jo, and Link aren't gonna make it as a couple, cause will, Jo wanted kids with Alex, and Link is fine with his one kid, in the show, but she'll want more, and somehow won't work, just a guess though

This show is living proof that TV shows have an end date. Shows should go out on a hight not because they are past their sell by date.

When Meredith says “alone” she means with a committed partner raising her children. Let’s not be obtuse. The last real relationship, where she planned to raise her kids with someone was Nathan- and that ended abruptly. Even Andrew I think (that season of Greys is a blur lol). She’s not talking about help fe her sisters and friends, she talking about a life partner.

That was really over the top. I think it's time for this show to end. Re-watching earlier episodes it was so much better. I think about all the wonderful actors who have been on the show - Sandra Oh leaving was a big blow. Chandra Wilson is still the best.
