If you otherwise like the super 10, but need just a bit of quietness, then the Super44; if you look at the 10 & the 44, it has the same delta plate arrangement in the 1st chamber. The Super 44 is just a Super 10 with an added chamber.

I know this video is 11 years old but if it were me id go with an original 40 or super 10 or straight pipes.

super 44 sounded the best to my ears. thats what im using on my 01 s10 extreme with a 383

Super 40s, because it gives it that muscle car sound to it more the 44s.

The original 40 series is king. No mistaking that sound. Always turned heads and sounded like a cammed motor with a deep echoing hollow tone.

That hollow-metal-can sound is awful. And mufflers with chambers and baffles don't flow that well either. Straight-through mufflers are the way to go.

I’ve had both the 40 and now I have 44 the 44 is a deeper and louder tone I like it but the 40 is also a nice noise it revs higher but not louder

Headman Headers? "BBAARRFF". I highly recommend Stahl Headers (header pipes are all the same length) with a super 40 single side exit system. Better gas mileage and sound.

Leave it straight piped. God they both sound terrible.
