We need to talk about wage stagnation and disparity. The "younger" generations are interested in wine and the more discretionary income that they have, the more wine they will buy. I think one of the issues is that those who can't afford good wine, aren't buying as much cheap wine. Part of the post Covid boom that we saw was because the government put spending money in people's pockets, not just that they were tired of being locked in their houses. If you want a booming wine industry, support and lobby for policies that will strengthen the middle class. Did the upper class buy more wine when they got their big tax cut in 2018 or did their consumption stay the same? Who wants to buy your wine and can they?

Everyone needs to read up on what went down. The sad fact is nothing out of the ordinary happened other than a bank run. Any bank that has everyone pull their money out in a panic could have this happen. Their investments were all good but certain mortgage securities were devalued due to Federal reserve actions.
