My dream car is a series hybrid electric SUV with four doors and a hatchback. The two rear doors pop out and slide back, like van doors, and the two front doors pop out and slide forward. It has a computer in the dashboard that can show detailed diagnostics, including indicators for lights that aren't working. It has a micro turbine generator and two batteries. The car runs on battery power below 40hpm and automatically starts the turbine above that, or whenever a battery needs to be charged. Power from either source is first channeled through a control box, then distributed among four electric motors, one for each wheel. The control box manages fuel flow, based on angle of the gas peddle, complex wheel behavior based on steering, and suspension and breaking based on road conditions.

In this video, a lot of things are not true, very poor research. And it's not a W engine W engines are like V engines but with 2 VR cylinder banks instead of rows

Fifty years ago a friend of mine designed and built the lowest emission engine in the world. Did govts. and vehicle builders want it? No.What has changed? Nothing. Promises plenty. Hybrid, hydrogen, electric, rotary, all kinds of things but they could not produce the figures he did all those years ago. Write him up. He was Ted Pritchard from Melbourne. He designed and built a modern steamer and took it to America. External combustion, controlled superheat , and a very efficient engine. I went over with him the trip before and they had nothing that came near it. Did they want it? No. I can only assume that the thought of losing all their R@D [billions on the external combustion engine] was too much for them. They turned it into a scrap iron jungle and it's still no good. Ralph Nader found out the hard way not to challenge the status quo. Those people in France are just finding out how they have been lied to over diesel emissions all these years and it's a scandal big as V.W.. I don't know if it is management, those working for them, or politicians who can't handle vehicle builders, but one of these elements has to be replaced. Even the press are scared of this industry. People are dying every day and those responsible don't want to know about it. As for gas turbines I wish them luck. An Amazon monkey could see those Chryslers weren't going to make it. We rode in one at the E.P.A. Ann Arbor, Michigan. Scrap.

On my 2024 CRV, I have been in EV mode up to speeds of 79mph. This video and the clips of the professor breaking down the ecvt is for the previous gen model, which is almost the same, but not quite.

Our honda crv ehev 2024 awd needs 6.6 l/100km average which isn't that good i would say, its not fast either so i don't know what to think about it

Toyota eCVT's have everything good this has but doesn't have the clutches that wear and break down.

At 6:07 - The gas motor is running by itself above 62 mph, but its optimal RPM range is about 3700 to 4700 RPM?? That graph can't be right!! I would NEVER drive my car in that range! How long would your gas motor last if you only drive highway speeds??

They enough problems with the newer skinny skirt type pistons they're using in modern diesels. As a workshop mechanic I can honestly say I've never seen so many engines with split pistons as I do today.

The Challenge of Supercharging is solved, if you don't use a piston to compress. intake and expansion should be one stroke. A Wankelesque Trochoid Engine should drive a turbine, and a Tesla Turbine should recover the energy produced.
