The alpine is turbo so its not possible to be as fun or engaging as a naturally aspirated or supercharged car. Its not even close its apples and oranges

Yes traction fully off Paul otherwise it intervenes to much for my liking. Just takes time to build up and have the confidence in the car moving around.

Did you do anything to stiffen up the Hood ? nice driving would you consider ND2 with kinamatic posture control with same upgrades it would be intereesing match up. I think Lotus driver was worried about how much he forked out for his Exige compared to the MX5 ND BBR upgrades !!

Hood is all standard. The Nd2 with the BBR kit goes to 220bhp over the 200bhp for the ND1, not sure you would notice the difference unless you drove them back to back tbh.

Hi, what is the rev limit of your set up? I also have the BBR 200 kit on my ND1 and currently I'm in the tunning process, I would like to know how far can I safely push the rev limit. Regards and great drive skills, by the way!

Shows you what a great driver can do. The Alpine is clearly a lot more capable but your skills are way more enhanced than its drivers.

Absolutely superb hand work on the wheel. It's one thing I struggle with coming from fast ratio GT3 cars in my simracing rig where you never really have to move your hands off 9 and 3.

Ppl tend to forget that everything changes with more power. Earlier on the brakes, more difficult to dial in optimum entry speed etc. You said 100bhp. Is the alpine tuned? Stock is around 250bhp, right?

Looks like a fast track seeing how you were running out in 4th through some of those sweepers! PS4 are a good touring sport tyre, but from the look of it you'd benefit from something a bit grippier.

Hi Richard, tyres are Michelin PS5 and brakes are Brembo 4 pots with DS1.11 pads. Will be fitting Cup2's soon so looking forward to seeing the difference!

I know it's a old post just wondering how you liked the cup2s? I personally didn't like them and preferred the ps4s since they got heat much easier and gave a much more linear give at the edge of grip. The cup2s would hold more G but gave out completely once you went over. I don't have a miata (yet) this was on a c7 z06

Great video, excellent driving, camera is in perfect position, there's a lot of horror stories regarding ND1 gearbox on net, How's your with the BBR kit and track use aswell any issues?

Hi D C, Its a ND1 with a BBR 200 kit running Bilstein B16 coilovers and PS4 tyres.

@@mikescib7798 Does the Super 200 use cams on the ND1? B16 make a hell of a difference I bet. Uprated ARB's? The standard Bilsteins are so soft. Not terrible, but definitely could do with firming up on circuit.

It had a standard exhaust so pretty quite. Cant remember now but sure it was about 6500rpm

Clutched in but didn't brake as they would of certainly ended up in a spin. TBH, more luck than skill on this occasion!!

Ya know the Exige 380 isn’t really much heavier right? It’s ~2375 lbs, 1076 kg. Hardly any more than the Miata. Lotus driver has no excuse!
