The way you are prepping it, it's not going to last.

Absolutely agree. About 1991 My mate blew his engine on his 3.0l Capri and bought a tatty P6 3.5l. mot failure. and put the engine into his Capri. I thought at the time it was a great idea but seeing your vids im not so sure.

By the way i think you left your 'Go-pro' in the carpark when you drove off ! Would have been a good 'Benny hill moment if you stopped halfway away and did a speeded up bit running back to the camera and grabbing it !

I love the 'Almost' invisible steering wheel which is a refreshing change to todays 'Chunky' monkeys !

If any British car marques were to be resurrected, Reliant and Triumph would be my personal preferences. The Scimitar GTE was one of my favourite cars in my youth and I promised myself I would own one one day. It never came to pass. Not yet anyway. But if I ever do have the opportunity I think I would probably do a very sympathetic resto-mod, so I could use it reliably and economically every day. (I'm waiting for the negative replies). I think that extra key slot might have been for an alarm system or engine isolation. Maybe I'll find out by the end of the video! Well donne, a very enjoyable couple of hours, thanks.

Well it didn't take long to sell and the new owner looked very happy but it was a tidy P6 and that engine sounds good after the work you did good to see it back on the road 👍

I think the reason people suggest changing both struts is to give a more consistent and reliable ride quality. If one failed, and they're the same age, then the other one is probably on its last legs so you might as well do both. But you're right, you could change one now to make it pass and the other one later if you don't want to spend for both right away. Honestly at nigh on 20 years old it probably could use a lot of suspension work if you plan on using it for quite a while.
